Linux Mozilla VPN keeps crashing

Not sure what happened, it was working fine last week. Turned on the system today and it just crashes, window pops open for a second and closes. I read up on this error but it seems to indicate it's trying to access something outside of it's permission range: :~$ mozillavpn Segmentation fault (core dumped) So I ran it elevated (sudo), just to test, it works but it's not supposed to run this way. I uninstalled, reinstalled, same results. I uninstalled, renamed the ./mozilla/firefox folder to wipe settings, reinstalled same effect.

Mozilla VPN crashes and crashes

Try doing this to fully reset it if it crashes or won't open properly, this usually resolves the issue: 1.) Before doing the following, double check the task manager (you can search for this or press control+alt+delete to bring it up) to ensure that the VPN is not currently open. If it is open, right click the process in the task manager and select "End task" 2.) Uninstall Mozilla VPN from your device. 3.) Now, open the Windows "File Explorer". Click on the "View" tab at the top of the window.

MozillaVPN crashes in Ubuntu 20.10

Hello, I just installed the mozillavpn package in my Ubuntu 20.10. It shows a brief black screen that crashes immediately. It happens consistently, so I could provide core dumps or call traces if necessary. See attached screenshot of the Ubuntu crash report. I tried using the CLI and I could connect the VPN easily, so it's a problem in the UI. Best

VPN constantly crashing. Can't be launched.

I can't launch the VPN on Windows 10. It always crashes before it's fully launched. It was working well just a few days ago. I can't figure out what's causing it.

mozillavpn ui crashes on start because of segfault

When launching the mozillavpn desktop client, it immediately crashes. Using the command line only yields an error message saying there was a segfault. I've purged and reinstalled the app, and I've updated my system, but the error persists. This seems to affect the UI only, because I'm able to manage the client using the CLI. I'm running pop_os 20.04.

App is crashing when starting

Hi, For the last month+, the VPN app has immediately crashed when I start it. The icon shows up in the tray but when I hover over it, it disappears. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with a fresh download several times with no luck. Windows 10, 64 bit Two errors from Event Viewer: 1. Mozilla VPN Crashing

I have been using Mozilla VPN for a few months. Last week, I upgraded to a new motherboard, CPU and RAM but did not re-install Windows. Now when I try to start the VPN program up, I can see the icon pop into the startbar but then quickly disappears indicating that it closed down on its own. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the behavior persists. I'm not sure how to troubleshoot other than starting with a fresh install of Windows. I'm not sure where logs would be located.

VPN Crashes Immediately After Opening

Over the past few days, when Mozilla VPN opens on startup, which I have it set to do, the icon appears in the systray, but if I attempt to mouse over it it disappears. This also happens if I attempt to open it again via the start menu, though if I go into Task Manager in both scenarios the Task will still be listed until I select End Task. Ending the Task, however, does not change the fact that when I attempt to open it, the icon will appear in the systray and then disappear when I attempt to

Windows 10 App crashes unexpectedly

Sometimes the Windows 10 app will close without any notice, without any pattern. I've observed it happen straight after Windows 10 startup but equally after hours of work. Sometimes the VPN will be connected when it happens, sometimes it wouldn't be. Has anyone else observed similar behavior?
