Hi, I am using Firefox Mobile on my Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505 with Samsung Android 4.3. I keep getting a notice that Firefox has stopped or stopped red. I forget which. There is a choice whether to report or not. After this Firefox is closed. It's very annoying How to solve this?

When I try to send with Thunderbird, I get a message "SMTP Server Password Required" I enter the correct password and then get "Login Failed" with a choice of "Retry"; "Enter new password" or "Cancel" If I do "Retry" I get "Sending of message failed The message could not be sent using SMTP server ##### for an unknown reason. Please verify that your SMTP server are correct and try again, or contact your network administrator."

The email is working as webmail on Firefox (and on IE for another address on another PC but the same account)

All of a sudden Thunderbird will not allow me to attach files to outgoing emails. When i compose an email and either click on the paperclip icon or go to Files/Attach/Files, nothing happens. I can no longer get a Finder window (using Mac).

I set Firefox to restore prior session on opening, and it was working. Something happened, and I can't get it to do this properly any more. For example, at

it opens to that page, which has controls to adjust vertical and horizontal position, but it no longer restores the results of using these controls on the page from the last session, and I have to go through this process every time I open Firefox. In the Options menu/General, I have it set to "Show my windows and tabs from last time", but it always goes to the Home Page setting, no matter what I put in there. How do you get Firefox to set to "no home page", or its equivalent? If you leave the space blank, it goes to the Firefox page. Is this one of those things you have to set in a .ini file somewhere?

I been trying for days to access Secondlife.com but when i do i get this messageAn error has occurred. Further information is available in the server log. now i can use Chorme and firefox to go to the site but not firefox plus fireofx is searching for second life on my C drive and Customer service for second life said they don't know why Firefox is Searching for Second life on my c-drive.. Can you please help me

When Firefox is started, the circular think button continues to run, but the program has only started one new tab. When the Home Page button is clicked, program seems to lock in a 'Firefox not Responding' error message. When I try to shut it down by using upper right corner X, it gives two choices, "Wait for the program to respond" of "Shut down program". I choose Shut down program, and in the background a message saying 'Windows checking for a solution' although it never comes back with one. What I'd like to know is will Firefox save my bookmarks if program is deleted and a newer version of Firefox is downloaded?

Using Win XP Service Pack 3. Having problem with Scrapbook Plus 2. I was perfectly happy with Scrapbook, but when Firefox was upgraded to level 27.0.1 it disappeared. It is my understanding that with level 27.0.1 the only scrapbook addon applicable is Scrapbook Plus 2. Am I correct on that? If so, can anyone help me to find directions on how to use Scrapbook Plus 2?

I have copied the data from the old scrapbook version to a new folder- "Scrapbook Plus 2 New". SBP appears in the menu bar. When I click on it my four choices are:; Capture page,Capture page as,Create bookmark with ScrapBookPlus 2 , and Open sidebar. The original scrapbook brought up all the folder choices. With this new one I don’t know how to access the folders.

Opened the sidebar, but not sure how to work it. When I click on tools and then , scrapbook-orner offnen I can see the "Scrapbook Plus 2 New" folder and it has the information in it that I copied. I looked for instructions on how to use scrapbook plus 2 but was unsuccessful in finding any. Can anyone assist me?

When I log into Gmail, none of the tabs have labels. But when I scroll over them, a small drop down appears and tells me what each tab is, (select, refresh, more, sort by newer, sort by older, settings, primary, social, promotions. Please help.

From the AOL News page (not my Homepage) I can sign in to my AOL email accounts. Once there when I click on 'New Mail' or other choices nothing happens. If I sign on to the same pages using IE, Chrome, or Google I don't have any problems.

With option "allow pages to choose their own fonts..." deselected, some symbols are improperly displayed.

I think I know what's happening. With the option selected, FF displays some symbol characters with the wrong font.

But, this doesn't make sense, since these symbols are not in any language font. None of them will produce the correct symbols if selected as the personal preferred font. So, it's incorrect to render these symbols in any of the fonts selected as my personal preference, regardless of status of this option.

So, FF should use the a symbol font for these symbols regardless of this preference setting.

I'd like to restore borders (or horizontal separators FF 3.6 style) between toolbars.

The following code doesn't give the 3d look.

Hello everybody.

With Sync, we can synchronize our favorites, preferences, passwords and other ... But we can't synchronize our scripts (GreaseMonkey), or preferences of our extensions (accepted sites in the "No Script" extension, for example).

So I was wondering if there was a way to synchronize not our preferences or our extensions, but the preferences of our extensions (GreaseMonkey, No Script ...) ?

If not, maybe this request - if it hasn't already been asked - could it be reflections.

Used to have the newtab page set for my tabs. After installing a program bing took-over. I removed bing but not the tabs are only mozilla's start page. When I change it in about:config, no matter what I put the same page still comes up.

Any ideas?

Hi guys, running FF27.01 on W7SP1.

I have a lot of tabs open and I set FF to reopen them at every launch, my problem is that FF hardly ever checks whether those webpages were updated when I reopen it....Opera, Chrome & IE do it, why not FF? Who could possibly want to read an outdated webpage?

So I did set "browser.cache.check_doc_frequency" to "1"(I tried all possibilities actually), now FF is kind enough to check whether the webpage was updated on some sites....very few sites actually.

This is a known issue from what I found running a google search and the solution was either to clear the cache when FF closes or to use Chrome...I don't like either of those two options.

Hi, I have a Mac running Mavericks and Firefox keeps crashing most daily for the past three months and I get a "Firefox has crashed submit report" popup.

It is usually if I am playing a youtube video or a movie (more then one) at a time. Or if one video is loading and I try to play or load another. I notice if I "que" or pre-load a long video (more then 15 minutes), then try to play a new one it will crash.

I have tried the following solutions none of which have worked:

A) Uninstalling and reinstalling firefox

B) Reset Firefox (Help, troubleshooting information, reset firefox)

C) Turn off hardware acceleration (Firefox, preferences, un-check hardware acceleration)

D) Turn off "enable hardware acceleration in "youtube" (it now asks me each time if I would allow it to play)

E) Plugin Check and Updates are all up to date (http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/) I only have:

SharePoint Browser Plug-in (research)

Default Browser Helper (research)

These plugins are up to date: (as of March 7th 2014)

Shockwave for Director 12.0.6 (Up to Date)

Shockwave Flash 12.0.0.70 (Up to Date)

QuickTime Plug-in 7.7.3 (Up to Date)

Sometimes I get this as the "signature": libsystem_platform.dylib@0x4280

Again I have tried the above solutions but they have not worked. Any help or advice will be appreciated. Thank you

If i were to scroll down half way on a tab, and switch to a different tab when i turn Firefox off, by the time I turn it back on that first tab would jump right back to the top of the page unless I refresh before closing Firefox. This has been happening to me since I upgraded to Firefox 27 and it's getting pretty annoying. I keep a lot of tabs open and it is a lot of work trying to remember to refresh every page before I close firefox, is there a fix to this?

I also do not have the "Clear history when Firefox closes" option checked

This is the message I get:

"login.yahoo.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate will not be valid until 3/2/2014 6:00 PM. The current time is 2/7/2014 5:09 PM. (Error code: sec_error_expired_certificate)"

The problem is that today (the date I wrote this) is 03/07/2014. The time of day shown is accurate, but the date is old by a month. I've checked my computer's time and the router's time and both are accurate. Is there some other place from where Firefox gets its time stamp? I can't understand why the date used for the certificate would be off by a whole month. This issue appeared on about 03/04/2014.

I'm developing http://idesigns.dk and the menu looks totally different in FF comparing to Chrome. I have found out that it's because of the lower letter spacing in FF. How can I make the letter spacing "normal" like in chrome?
