Why does my office desktop Firefox version update every 2 or 3 time I start my browser? I click on browser and a popup box tells me its updating. The updates are short, 15 to 30 seconds and then the browser opens and runs normally.

On 28 August I received a blank email with just the sender and subject showing. Since then I have sporadically received completely blank emails, with no sender or subject, while others are arriving as normal. The same is happening when I open Thunderbird on my mobile, but not on my laptop which has an older version installed. It would seem that the issue is caused by update 153.1.1esr, as that was released on 28 Aug.
Can I revert to a previous version of Thunderbird or is there another way to fix this, thanks.

The latest Snap update on my Kubuntu laptop is marked as a BETA version. I haven't selected the BETA stream, and I checked and snap seems to be pointed at the stable version.
I like to keep track of changes at each install and there's no Release Notes available.
Is this an error at your end or do I need to change something to get back to a stable version?

Hello all After a Thunderbird update, a folder named "thunderbird" was created in my Personal folder. This folder is empty. After deleting the folder, it is recreated when Thunderbird is restarted. How do I get rid of this folder? Alternatively, what does this folder contain, and how can I move it to a different location?

I can't open any new tabs or go to a new website unless I restart. Is there a way to run updates on MY Schedule rather than having this happen. a notice that an update is ready to be installed rather than per-emotively just starting one would be polite and appreciated.. Just 'starting' it in the background without telling me makes you guys look like Microsoft rather than Mozilla.
