Hello. The latest update of FireFox 129.0.2 still has intermittent crashes. Sometimes I can't access my Google searches or links in emails don't work, then it works, then it starts to malfunction again. I have to restart my PC. Could you release a patch that works as well as before FireFox 129.0? On the other hand, Canal+ works perfectly Thanks. Kind regards.

Hello, PG&E just updated their webpage and it doesn't allow me to sign in. It informs me that Fire Fox isn't a compatible browser, all other websites are fine. It suggests Chrome as the preferred browser. We pay our utilities through their site and we enjoy Fire Fox.Can anyone help resolve this issue? Thanks

As noted by others about recently-prior versions of Firefox, version 129 ALSO fails to play videos (on Amazon Prime) at HD even though other browsers, Chrome and Edge as examples, work perfectly well. This problem MAY have started with a fairly recent version of Firefox (like 127 or 128). See the post right here by another user, earlier Firefox version, with the EXACT same problem:

It looks like firefox recently updated with new privacy features (great!) What's not so great is that now it forces me to log into gmail each time I open a new browser window (not great). I have several different accounts that regularly use so this isn't ideal.

I've tried adding both gmail.com and google.com as exceptions under the cookie settings (didn't work). I even went and turned off the "enhanced tracking protection" on every step of the gmail login page and my inbox. Still kicks me out once I open a new browser. Any help to remedy this problem would be great.

I was working on strengthening my passwords using firefox as my browser and roboform. I had a us bank site open also at the time. I did not change that user id or password. However, ever since then I am unable to sign in to my us bank site. It brings up the site but as soon as I click to sign in, it greys the screen. I am able to sign in to every other site I have tried on the firefox browser. I am also able to sign in to my us bank site on at least two other browsers without issue. What has happened and how can I fix firefox to allow me to use it? The us bank site is not an app. Thank you.

Hey, my Firefox suddenly isn't making any sound anymore, but everything else on my PC is working fine. The troubleshooting page didn't help at all either. I'm getting desperate—restart, reinstalling, etc. didn't help either.

While reading a PDF using Firefox PDF Viewer, I highlighted certain passages occasionally saving (using the print icon) for future retrieval. Later when I did re-open the file, none of my highlighting was visible. I have tried alternative browsers, various PDF readers, etc. without luck. I really do need that highlighting. Thank you

I consistently get this popup when I click on most websites if I want additional information, or to see a more detail. I cannot find any way to get this thing to stop doing that. Does anyone here know about this problem, and to get this thing to stop like period? Thanks for the help....I hope, because it is a real pain. I was using Opera before this, and it never had something like this . Operating System-Windows 11. Browser-Mozilla.

Hello, This is on Win 11, always latest updates to win and FF.

For at least the past 9 months saving anything (web pages, files, etc.) is incredibly slow. I have filed bug reports but nothing back. After starting the save the wheel rotates for 1-2 minutes before finally waking up and saving. FF is completely frozen until its done.

On a second win 11 box, the download are fast but flagged as download failed but the file was actually downloaded

Anyone know anything about this? Like why or how to fix it.

I'm switching to Chrome until this is resolved but I hate Chrome so I hope it will not be a long wait.

The trouble I ll present you might come a bit late, I've just never thought about asking on this forum (didn't even know that it exists lol) and I spent a lot time on tutorials trying to find the solution... lol 😩

My situation : I have a laptop with debian 12 stable. Early July, I updated my apps, Firefox 128 has just been released. Since the Firefox 128 update, I can no longer execute Firefox, I always get the pop up message :

Failed to execute child process (no such file or directory)

I've tried many times to uninstall & reinstall, purge & reinstall. Still the same "failed to execute... " message. all the subsequent updates (128.X and 129.X) haven't solved this problem...

On the other hand, Firefox ESR 128 works like a charm.

Is anyone in the same situation as me ? 😕

Somebody better answer me as I am about to switch my default browser from Firefox to something else. I have already asked this question but never received any response. For a long time now I keep running across sites that do not work on Firefox. It can be a streaming site such as Paramount+ or it could be my phone service site Ting. In all of the cases and there have been quite a few I am always able to find another browser the sites will work on. 9 times out of 10 they will work on Chrome but I have found at least one that does not work there but will work on Edge. So, right now Edge is the prime candidate to switch to. I do not want to quit as it would be a pain in the ass as I have been a loyal user for at least 15 years and have stuck with you as I believe in what you are doing and represent but it is becoming to much of a pain to continue using you because I like the convenience of using only 1 browser 99% of the time. I've been trying to watch live sports events on SECN+ through my Hulu subscription, but I'm encountering an error message stating, "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported." I discovered that Firefox is blocking the stream, while it works perfectly on Chrome. With the college football season and other sports events approaching, I’m concerned that if this issue persists, I may have to stop using Firefox, which I've relied on for over two decades. When trying to use one particular website on Firefox, I get a message that I am blocked because of an ad blocker but I have not turned on any ad blocker in Firefox. How do I find out if an ad blocker is enabled on my Firefox and, if so, how do I turn it off? I have ensured that the ad blocker option in settings is unchecked and even added this web site to permissions but to no avail. Can someone help? Here is the message I get but none of the steps in this message I am told to take show up on my screen:

I do not understand why AFTER I used Firefox Delete History that my Charter.net email can no longer be accessed.' I have had Spectrum technicians over here, it is not in their wiring, or outside lines. They cannot go further. I AM AT HOME! I worked/talked with 4 different Charter/Spectrum people on the phone over a 3 day period. briefly I was able to get into the Charter account (Necessary because my VA & other medical appointments/communications are via charter.net) using Microsoft Edge. I no longer can. I am getting that message on Edge as well. I do not want to use Edge or Chrome, I want to use my Mozilla/Firefox/Thunderbird But that is another issue which I cannot get resolved. My monthly contributions to both get through but I cannot even get into Thunderbird for Months & can't get help. At 83, I am computer challenged. Nobody wants to make house calls. What is wrong? What can I do? What do you suggest? Kat Hall
