As you can see from the screenshot i provided and as you can read from subject of this very annoying issue Firefox new 130 update has changed my URL bar and now stuff are missing to the point that links to Outlook and some other stuff that were in address bar URL because i wanted them there and now they place has been taken by namely foxovizija.blogspot.com and watchonlyfoolsandhorses.com and ajax.nl/shop just because i watched few episodes of fools and horses on that link same goes for foxovizija and browsed some items in ajax fan shop! I WANT DOES LINK GONE FROM MY URL so i can put links that i want to be in there and FF 130 address bar being populated by only the links i want to be there and stay that way! and one more thing i want to get rid of that ugly search with google thing because i don't even use google,further more once all of a sudden in FF 130 MY BROWSER IS MANAGED BY MY ORGANIZATION ? That was never there before this update ,so with all that has been said and screenshot as proof i beg you and plea on your kindness and knowledge to give me guidance how to fix this URL thing first,then how to remove THIS BROWSER IS MANAGED BY YOUR ORGANIZATION and last but not least how to block further FF updates because every new update is worse then the next and just keep pushing the whole browser down the drain ! Hi, I want to disable the "Thought-provoking stories" shortcuts from the home / new tab page on Android.

Following the other forum posts and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/hide-pocket-recommendations-firefox there should be a switch for "Thought-provoking stories" under Settings - Homepage - Shortcuts, but I don't see it. What can I do? Thank you for your help.

Typing about:config in the address bar does not bring up a list of configuration files. All it does is produce a google search list of YouTube and Mozilla help sites. How can I access Firefox configuration files so I can stop websites from refreshing?

Since I have been using Firefox Android from S7 Edge to this S23+ it will not follow system settings for dark mode. If I set it to light mode it's always in light mode. if I set it to dark mode it stays in dark mode, no matter what the system setting.

hello yesterday i updated my Win10N to 22H2 version. since then i dont have audio on X videos and get error messages on nius clips (see pic) in about:support shows h264 acc and hevc as unsupported. but i cant tell if this is new or not. anyway k-lite codec pack should make them supported, right? to further narrow down the problem i used edge and visited nius and twitter and both worked fine, so the problem must be firefox. so im out of ideas how to fix that. anyone can help me? my help request on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/1fs2in3/need_helppossible_codec_problem/

After a few days I noticed that the option "open with" on the downloads dialog is always grayed out (see the attached picture).

If I go on the settings and tell the browser to not ask and open directly the file, it opens without any problem... (actually it shows an advertisement saying it is an executable file, but when I dismiss it, it opens)

I updated and now "Settings" & "Quit" aren't in the ︙menu. They're hidden and I have to swipe up a second time to see them. This interferes with my workflow, as I use "Quit" dozens of times a day and it used to be effortlessly accessible via a single finger flick.

How do disable this hiding of "Setting" and "Quit"? Is there an about:config option I can toggle?

I am using Iceraven-2.23.1 (Build #2016045162), which is based on Firefox for Android and allows all users to use about:config

(If there is no about:config to disable it, let me know the last version before this was changed, and I'll use that instead.)

Just as the title goes. I've been using Mozilla Firefox on desktop since 2005. The best hands down browser ever. I started using Firefox on android back in 2019.

I still love the android version, but my only problem with it is tabs. They stay open constantly. In the desktop application you close out and all the tabs close. In the android version I swipe up and there still there next time I load in. I don't like this at all. Unless I quit out of Firefox from the submenu, the tabs will stay open indefinitely.

I was hoping Mozilla could add an option to auto close tabs in 6 hours or something like that. Or close out tabs when I swipe up in android.

I have moved about 20 friends and family to Firefox and it's always going to be Firefox from now on. You guys rock!

I hope this message finds you well. I have encountered several issues while using Firefox, particularly with tab synchronization between devices and general performance when switching profiles. It seems that tabs do not sync reliably, and there are significant slowdowns when managing profiles on my Android device.

Starting yesterday my phone apparently self enabled Caller ID to display Caller as unknown.

Is this a case of infiltration.

Also when I type on the keyboard letters don't seem to sync with the key I typed, please your assistance will be highly appreciated and remove the grief. Typing is rather slow you might type a specific key, yet the letters are spaced involuntarily

Greetings. I bought a new phone and downloaded the latest version of FF for Android. I use Private Browsing mode on both phines. This new version has the Search Suggestions from Boommarks and I don't like it. It's too distracting for me. My question: How do I turn it off? Thank you.

Information Your browser is being managed by your organization.

I am 75 years old. I am RETIRED there is NO REASON for an organization to be in CONTROL of ANYTHING on my computer. How do I STOP THIS?

I don't know if this is related or not, but Something is BLOCKING my ability to use check boxes or circles. Sometimes I can see the box but my response is NOT VISIBLE. Tonight I was trying to complete a survey and the questions were visible but I was COMPLETELY UNABLE to see the answer boxes/circles. Sometimes they would be briefly visible when the page initially opened but QUICKLY DISAPPEARED and were NOT identifiable by manipulating my cursor using mouse, space bar, or tab bar.

I have stayed with Firefox as my default browser for several DECADES and PREFER NOT to change now. BUT this MUST STOP!

macOS Sonoma, M1 Not sure when this happened, but I can no longer change my zoom level in settings. As you can see in the screenshot, the - and + are both greyed out and I can't use them. Using cmd+ or cmd- doesnt work either.

Firefox (version 130.0.1 (64-bit)) is not playing audio through headphones. Have tried a number of sites - e.g. YouTube, internet radio stations, news sites.

However, unlike in the above-mentioned support article, the Windows App Volume and Device Preferences settings are set to default.

I have since also tried restarting my PC (Windows 10 ; Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.4651) and resetting the App Volume and Device Preferences to the Microsoft default settings (see Image attached).

I also tested and audio plays fine through Chrome browser, VLC media player, Teams and Edge.

Would love to find a solution! Thanks D
