how to add Yahoo search as default search engine if Yahoo is missing on Firefox Search. on Search setting i can see different engines Google, Bing, Ebay, etc. but there is no Yahoo.

I have a strange problem when searching for stuff on the internet. (Using google if it matters)

First search I type something like cars. I press enter. I get cars.

Second search I type black cars. I press enter. I get cars again and in the search result it shows i searched cars.

I type black cars again. I press enter. I get black cars, search finally says I searched black cars.

I refresh. I get cars again and the search shows I only searched cars.

Every time I wanna search something I need to open up a new tab or I run into this issue and it's driving me insane. I have no idea where to even start with troubleshooting this problem, it's so strange.

quick find, aka shift-7 sucks, not to be mean but when i try to type in my game im making it comes up as quick find, im using scratch and im making a calculator, please help me find out how to de-activate it.

I am confused because I downloaded Firefox and I thought that was going to be my new browser replacing Safari and then I downloaded the DuckDuckGo thinking that was going to be the search engine that replaces Google now it looks as though their arrivals and then I don't understand how they both work and I'm very confused can you please help explain what each of them are and what their uses are and if I should have both of them are only one. After much searching and guesswork, I've finally worked out that the "cross in a box" icon on the Firefox android search bar is to allow qr codes to be scanned. Maybe you could add a tool-tip for these more obscure icons?

Somehow yahoo became my default search engine and when I do a search I get the same advertisement that blocks the entire landing screen, how can I change it back to google?

The issue is, whether I am searching via the address bar or using the search bar while using google (my main search engine) the app seems to be glitch ingredient when I hit enter. Most of the time now, I be pushed back to the previous page or the page before that and the search terms I entered into either field has been deleted. This is probably not a big deal and a minor inconvenience for some. But for me this is a problem because I have adhd and I have literally forgotten what I was trying to search because I was distracted by the information that shows up because the app pushes me back to a previous page.

At first this started about 2 weeks ago but only happened once or twice. Now, the frequency of this occurring is well over 2/3rds of the time. I explained this in a Google play review but it seems that you just have a standard auto reply there.

I will try a different search engine for the time being but I feel that it's more of an app problem than a search engine problem because if I just search in a new tab with no history, the tab seems to want to go to almost previous page but the search field just deletes what I am searching for and acts as if nothing has been done.

Please fix this issue. Besides being annoying, it's very difficult to keep tract of what i am trying to search for.
