Hello, I've installed Thunderbolt and added my Outlook account. However, none of the folders I created in Outlook have been copied over. Only the standard built-in folders e.g inbox, junk, sent etc were setup in Thunderbolt with all the mail from the other folders in the inbox. This is not very helpful.
How do I set up the Thunderbolt account so that the folders (and contents) are matched with the folders (and contents) in Outlook? Thanks

After changing from POP to IMAP to fix the earlier delivery problem, I have lost the existing file structure, filters, etc. Comcast email is coming in fine but there are only 6 folders while there should be 47 and all the filters s are gone. I have tried rebuilding the current global-messages-db.sqlite file but it stops after 12 hours and was only 10% finished at 2 GB instead of the prior anticipated 16 GB. Added all addresses to address books. Nothing fixes this problem. There is no way to contact Mozilla directly for a solution so I am posting here. No, this is not email coming from a third party account like Gmail. No, it's not inheriting spam designations from another server. This is broken junk settings on the previous two versions of Thunderbird. Mozilla, please fix this.

I installed Thunderbird 138.0 a couple of months ago and was really pleased with its reliability and simplicity. About a month ago, it stopped retrieving emails from our local ISP. After a few very frustrating days of trying to fix the problem myself, I contacted our ISP. They told me that everything on their end was fine, but that I should probably change my password, just in case. I did that and Thunderbird started to work again as usual. About a week later it stopped again and nothing I try fixes it. I can't keep going to my ISP to change my password. The same thing is happening to Thunderbird on my Android phone, except every once in a while, it downloads 20 or so emails, then days of nothing. Its intensely frustrating! I followed the steps to copy the profile from the old PC and paste it into the folder on the old PC.
Thunderbird is using that profile, but there are no email history or address book.

Nothing about the outgoing server. I'm using Windows 11 and I think the latest Thunderbird version. I really need help to get past this. Further, when I attempt to send with "Control - Enter " keys, The error message uses the wrong server name.

My Thunderbird app worked fine for over a year and then I noticed that it had stopped downloading after December 20, 2024. I was able to write emails and send them successfully but none of my incoming emails arrived (I have access over my phone). This problem occurred shortly after my APP upgraded to Thunderbird version 128.5esr. I've downloaded the Thunderbird installer and run it but the program still refuses to download my emails. I receive the message “Unable to login in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password.
However if I change the POP connection security to “None”. All is well.
Can somebody please advise.
