Where is the "New Window" option in file menu of the 152.0.5 version of Firefox? why is there no 'New Window option" in file menu of the 152.0.5 version of Firefox? There is only one option, "New Private Window." If this is the new version of Firefox and I have been a fan and consumer for over 20 years, I am going to use Safari.

is it possible to make the cache bigger than the 1gb it has i have spent hours trawling though the data and cannot find it please help a 70 yr old even ifs a no cannot be done

I am using Debian Trixie with firefox 148 and I reported that the refresh option was missing from Firefox, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1569549. I then noticed another workstation with the same version of FF that did not have the "refresh firefox" option.

It appears firefox has been changed. Some of the items have been changed including the profiles option to add color on creation.

How can the parameters of FF be changed ? See enclosed menu under help, "more trouble shooting information", you will see "refresh firefox" is missing from the top right.

Version 152.0.1 running on Windows 11 Desktop (25H2 Build 36200.8655) on high end PC (Ryzen 9 7950X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 4090) has a harder to use interface using Privacy and Settings. Previous versions allowed one screen access to clearing the browser cache of Cookies and setting the Customised Tracking Protection. Now I have to delete the browser cache then click on Advanced Settings, then Customise Tracking Protection so two more Clicks (menu Selections) to do what used to be available on the first screen after clicking/selecting Privacy and Security.

I can use the mouse side buttons to revert (Cherry device) screen forwards and backwards but it is still two extra actions. Used to do quite a bit of Beta testing for FastCad (Mike Riddle Evolution Computing) and this was often designed to keep any action only 2 levels deep. I also denested the (drop down) menus to get rid of the 'flyout menus' items in a drop down to simplify access. One of the better interfaces of any CAD program ever designed. Better than Rhino (which I use) with it's 1200 command icons to remember...even though that is far from the worst. Icons harder to rememeber than text btw.

To this day there are many programs that do not allow this denesting or those that put choices way down a string of menu picks. I find this approach very hard to decipher and not at all intuitive. Some like Creo from PTC are really difficult. Please revert the 'improvement' to the prior state so both clearing the cache and setting the level of Tracking Protection can be done from one screen. I use this several times a day to keep the chance of any unwanted software finding it's way into the box to a minimum.

I hope this is constructive criticism for what is a great product. Thanks all at Mozilla for their hard work and helping us users keep safe on the Web.

Hi,Sorry to post this again,But I have spent over 4 hours trying every thing I can to correct it Since the last update,It totally Changed all my settings I managed to correct them,all BUT one & even though I have tried & Tried,I cannot remove SEARCH BAR on Toolbar Menu I have Been Through all Firefox Settings But Nothing Works & I have even removed all extensions,but NOTHING WORKS It was never on it before until the Update & it is a total Nuisance plesaea assist Thank you Darryl

I want to add ContentAnlysis policy in Mozilla Firefox related implementation DLP in my company and have mandatory to add this policy in Mozilla Firefox, but i dont know how to add manually in firefox.

the goal is, when we open about:policies in mozilla, there is a lot of content analysis policy show up there.

the parameter is: AgentName Symantec_dlp PipePathName brcm_firefox_cas Enabled true IsPerUser false ShowBlockedResult false DefaultResult 2 AgentTimeout 300 Interception Points > Clipboard Enabled Interception Points > DragandDrop Enabled Interception Points > FileUpload Enabled Interception Points > Print Enabled

how can i restore control of my device? I keep receiving this: "someone else, like a parent or administrator, controls settings on the network, browser or device that you’re using", but it is my device and I am a 41 year old adult.

Wanted to change the shortcut Alt + number to Ctrl + number to go to Tab 1-8 (got used to it in Chrome and Edge).

Found this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/customize-keyboard-shortcuts-firefox and wanted to try it. about:keyboard did not work and showed that the address doesn't look right.

Oh yeah, my device is running Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.3.

I don't want to follow football. I don't want to see world time. I don't want to download Firefox for mobile. I don't want to change my home screen background. I don't want any new widgets automatically enabled.

Kindly tell me if there are any setting/options/flags (including in about:config ) to avoid any new popups about all those very useful features for as long as possible.
