I searched throughout Thunderbird's settings to see where I could enlarge the font in the main screen where the list of emails are. I can't even Ctrl+ in this screen to enlarge it! Help! Eye Strains... Please see the paint screenprint.jpg. for illustration. Thank you! Marla

I've installed a legacy version of TB and been using it for some weeks, now. [52.9.1 (32-bit)] That's necessary because I run a legacy windoze OS.

I have an idea of how to make the Start Screen Layout easier for me. Specifically the accounts / mailboxes panel, where I [so far] have nine email accounts. The idea is that - under all-but-one email account - have these two folders:

• Inbox
• Sent

Then, under the email account I use the most, I will have

• Inbox
• Drafts
• Sent
• Junk
• Trash . . .

. . . . followed by all the necessary and appropriately-labelled subfolders.

Is there any reason that's a silly idea?

What's the Local Folders thing, at the bottom?

After nearly 30 years, Eudora's SSL settings have made it incompatible with current mail servers. Or so I was told.

Oh, I'm a geriatric, even if a little more computer savvy than some of my contemporaries.

  · Please avoid automatically adding suggested extensions, and keep only the Add-ons button.

2. Built-in free features:

  · A free, unlimited VPN.
  · A built-in AI assistant.
  · A built-in video player.
  · An integrated download manager.

3. An alternative to monthly subscriptions:

  Since most users do not have access to international payment methods, we kindly suggest an optional support model:
  · A “Buy me a coffee” button.
  · Cryptocurrency donations.
  · Voluntary support: those who are able to support may do so, and those who cannot may continue using it for free.

ive been using firefox for a long time now and i appreciate how compared to other browsers i have less ai jammed down my throat. i thought the crossword widget added recently was fun and ive been enjoying it every now and then. so i really do wonder, why would firefox put the ai-child-porn-lover who begged jeffrey epstein to let him come to his pedophile island on the crossword?

i really think you need to reconsider your editors or reconsider your morals.

After recent update, The auto scroll feature will not stop working no matter what I do. I have unchecked the box and have set all auto scroll Items ti false but the auto scroll will not turn off. How can this be turned off or a new release / up date? I have gone from 32 bit to 64 bit after the last update as well.

On two different Windows machines, current Firefox (153.0.1), the alt-d shortcut stops working: it does nothing until I restart Firefox. Then it works again for a while. I've tried about:keyboard and it's not reset there. I tried all combinations: Clear, Reset, setting it to alt-d explicitly. None of those worked. But when I set it to alt-a, that worked--but then resetting back to alt-d again didn't work. That shortcut is muscle memory at this point, so it's quite distressing. Not sure what diagnostics might be available to help here, happy to try anything.

Full disclosure: Both machines are Windows 10 but since that's stable, I find it hard to believe that's related.

When I press the middle button of mouse and move the mouse to the left (or right) firefox takes that as "back" button and moves to the previous page. This feature is really frustrating when using web based cad-programs that use that combination to move the view.

I have tried to disable all gestures from my firefox but can't get rid of this feature that is really awful.

I would really appreciate the possibility for simple operation without any functionalities like this.

Where is the "New Window" option in file menu of the 152.0.5 version of Firefox? why is there no 'New Window option" in file menu of the 152.0.5 version of Firefox? There is only one option, "New Private Window." If this is the new version of Firefox and I have been a fan and consumer for over 20 years, I am going to use Safari.
