Hello i wanted to move my emails storage from c/user/user/appdata.... to d/thunderbird/profile.... results a lost all... i have 2 or 3 email accounts i cant attach the new D/ .../rpfile/8dsw...to others 2 email account only to 1 so i decide to get back ( C/ user/.../profile/8dsw... still in pc ) and get no more emails on 3 account and i if i add the profile file (8dsw...) to 1 email account show me all file associated to the account but nothing in inbox... ahhh misery misery ... Where did you hide attach and send in T-Bird? I have been using this e-mail program for years and have installed i t on numerous relatives computers. Now it doesn't work?????

I use Thunderbird Version 101.0.1 on a Windows 10 PC. I am in England UK. All my email accounts are setup as IMAP.

I note that email messages in the 'draft' folder can be edited and the messages have an 'edit' button. This means, you can edit and save messages.

I have created folders in Thunderbird and I move messages from 'drafts folder' into these folders. Problem is I can't edit them and save them. I have to keep moving the message into 'drafts' then edit and save and move. This is inconvenient. 

I have tried various add ons but none do what i want. How can I make Thunderbird, show the 'edit' button on messages in my other folders so that I can save the message and edit it later.

Where can you suggest that Thunderbird make such an add-on.

I'm increasingly disappointed with the formatting issues in the mail editor, as it is all over the place.

I can't set a default font size in pt (why?) - small, medium, large etc settings are meaningless. They look different at the receiving end than in my editor, they keep changing with each line, they don't easily override the text copied and pasted in, the arbitrary text increase/decrease is unreliable and unpredictable.

An email I sent just now finally looked ok - but when I saw it in the SENT folder - the lines were all in different size!! I send mainly professional (business) emails and simply cannot afford such a mess with text all over the place.

The font type again, is unreliable and changes unpredictably.

I've had the formatting issues with pretty much every email I have sent over the past week or so. With so much hassle, extra time and ongoing corrections with my emails, I'm seriously considering moving back to Outlook, in spite of spending several hours on setting up TB.

Could someone explain please why the most important element of the email client - the message editor - is so poorly designed, after so many years? Why there is no font setting in point size, like in all other email clients?

I keep getting the above message. I looked up online and there are free apps to fix same but I am worried some of these apps may compromise my computer. Can you recommend a free app that is safe please? Thank you.

Since today, we experience an unusual problem in Mozila Thunderbird. The program ask for the password for the email that is already sign in. And if we enter the password, it ask for the password again. The error is "login to server outlook.office365.com with username failed". Our company need to solve this problem because we use Mozila Thunderbird for over 100 employee.

Hi, We have two identical Win 10 computers with Thunderbird installed as email client. Up until June both computers worked fine for email account: [edited] @lvlflyer.digitalspacemail8.net. In June, one of the computers wouldn't download messages, and gave the error message in the above Subject. We've clicked on the "Confirm" button hundreds of times, no luck. The account settings for digitalspace are identical on both computers (password, port, security, etc., etc.). I've researched this topic on your forums, and none of the suggestions work. Help.... My hard drive had to be replaced and now I cannot recover my Thunderbird Email. Keeps asking for a password but won't accept it. Asks for password for "mobile.charter.net" I think I have totally screwed up all the settings in trying to find a solution. I checked with my internet provider but no help. Could someone please help a very senior and very frustrated Granny? Thanks in advance.

My wife's Thunderbird application seems stalled . All I can see is the blue rotating circle. No emails after August 30 2022 will download . And the upper left hand corner has a period that is continually moving right to left and back again. She set up the email yesterday because her android phone was easier to use (Har, har). Gmails server apparently downloaded 13, 598 emails yesterday (8-30) and hasn't downloaded any since that date.. What's going on. She's attempting to renew her Green card and I'm more that a little concerned.

My work email has access to three separate email inboxes under its single login. When I initially add my work email to thunderbird, it shows my inbox but not the other two that I monitor.

Is there a way to have these other two show up under my email login similarly to how they do in outlook?

I'm getting the following message when trying to delete multiple messages at a time. Sometimes it actually puts them in the trash folder but doesn't remove from Inbox. I've emptied the trash & did a compact folder. Still have problem.

The messages could not be moved or copied to folder 'Trash on cindyr@neo.rr.com' because writing to folder failed. To gain disk space, from the File menu, first choose Empty Trash, and then choose Compact Folders, and then try again.

Whazzup with both a POP3 & an IMAP?

Since installing Thunderbird for windows v102.3.0 (32-bit), I can't dismiss a calendar event, which keeps looping to ask if I want to save or dismiss change for an "item changed on server" message. I rec'd the invite externally from Outlook. Neither option works; I can't delete the calendar entry either ... the event is stuck in an endless loop and will not dismiss. I'm now one day past the event date/time and still can't dismiss. Pls advise. Thank you.

My HDD crashed, and I have to re-install all my software, starting with Win 10. I have downloaded and installed the latest Thunderbird. I have backed up the C: drive a few days earlier. In my Thunderbird prior to the crash, I have three email addresses , and each one is filtered to store emails in a lot of Local folders. I went to the backup version, and recovered my Profile folder in Users/UserName /Roaming/Thunderbird folder, which merged with the newly installed Profile. When I opened Thunderbird after rebooting the PC, only my first email address was shown, and there were no filters or Local folders to be seen. Can someone please advise me on how to restore Thunderbird to my original configuration with 3 email addresses, filters and Local folders? kind regards, Joe

revert back to Firefox 101, which I believe was presented in the mass update of 102. my problems: a: Address lists could not be easily selected to send emails to . b. no check boxes for sending such as "TO", "CC", "BCC".

In our company, we have 130 users who have installed Thunderbird but this is not a standard application as per company policy. We need to mass uninstall the application for all 130 users. We have multiple versions of SW installed. Can you please provide any executable which can remove all versions of Thunderbird.
