I'm trying to setup Netzero email on Thunderbird. I get the error message, posted in question. Outgoing mail works but can't load inbox messages. I got the following error message when I first started Thunderbird - "The STAT command did not succeed. Error getting message numbers and sizes.Mail server pop.netzero.com responded: POP access disabled"

For a few weeks now we have been unable to send emails through tbaytel server via Thunderbird. We get SMTP error. This happened after recent upgrades to Mozilla. Any idea when a fix will be out?

Thunderbird/Mozilla is my provider for my email. I haven't been able to receive any emails. I'm getting a message "authentication error while connecting to server imap.mail.yohoo.com" can you help me?

I used to be able to access the content in my folders and copy to paste to another action. Now all it does is enlarge the content and switch back and forth but won't copy.

I set the app to open .jpg images as mspaint.exe and now every time I try to open a jpg I get an error message from mspaint saying "unable to create new document".

In the settings there's a list of attachments with options, but I can't find one for jpg images. How can I change the setting?

I have had Thunderbird for a number of years on the same Windows 10 laptop. Current version 153.4.0esr (64-bit) updated today/yesterday trying to resolve the issue. I am able to retrieve messages from two accounts one earlier than the other but not to send any message. None of the others either hotmail, live or gmail. I was able to check individually the email inbox directly and all seems correct. I checked the profiles and found only one. Also old Mail folder for pop no longer in use. ImapMail seems to be correct. As I am writing another account has received messages but unable to send any.

This seems really weird! No error messages, or warning , just does not want to behave normally

I have two accounts, wbob@optusnet.com.au & OPTUSNET, which I have using for many years. A few days ago the Sent emails not showing in Sent Items folder in both accounts. I have consulted Chatptg, and played around in the ☰ Menu → Account Settings → your email account → Copies & Folders. Many test emails to my self and I think I have made it worst. I hope you can help me PS. I don't like the two account arrangement, back & forth checking inbox every day. Thank you Bob

When I try to send a email from my secondary account I get the following error: A unique identity matching the from address was not found. Message will be sent using the current From field and settings Identity. In other words my main account sends a message to my secondary account. When I try to use secondary account I get the error message. The secondary account does not work now.

Hello, I'm a user who's blind, of course as per the accessability topic I selected here. I need help with thunderbyrd and reaching back to the messages list from either a message body and/or now currently, from the settings pane. I've tried the following: 1. Hitting F6 to figure out where the message list lies within the cycle of panes, but all I get are the search pane and the reading pane main region. 2. Tried hitting tab from the spaces menu when I find the mail as alt 1. 3. Just going back into that tab, the mail, and nothing works. I still end up back in the settings currently but was in a message body before. No matter how I turn off thunderbyrd and reopen it, this is still happening. I use NVDA only for games/current screen reader in use, but I mainly use JAWS for Windows, which is on its latest updates. NVDA is as well. Is there anything you can suggest or should I just use the outlook new from Microsoft, which I still have but it's a pain to use with screen readers. Thanks soo much, Ashleigh P
