I am having problem loading messages at all, plus whn I can access the header the content will not load. Plus the unified folders are now seperate accoring to e:mail address. When deleting messages it no longer shows the deleted message. Ihave therefore no clue that they have been deleted. Also one time when I signed in a lot of messages I thought I had deleted months ago suddenly reappeared.

MY thunderbird email comes from my comcast email. My wife email account will not allow a login. This account has been working for many years with no issues.

The error is login to server imap.comcast.net with username vimills@comcast.net failed. It also requests a new password at times. The passwords are correct and have not had problems until now

Something similar to what happened in Nov 2023 happened again today. "View" seems have to changed so that how when I see message headers listed in my inbox, I have to double-click on message to see it in a separate tab -- while previously I could just click on the header once, and the message text would appear below.

That previous problem SEEMED to be fixed by solution offered by David - Press [F8] to return to "Classic View". That doesn't work now. was solved. Attach Screenshot seems to indicate that I AM in "Classic View" but it's very different from what I'm used to.

I never understood clearly in Nov 2023 what caused the appearance to chance without any conscious action on my part. I'm equally baffled now. Any help anybody can offer would be appreciated.

About 2 weeks ago I was unable to receive emails but could send emails using Thunderbird. A few days ago I was no longer able to send emails in addition to not receive. This is the error message I got "Sending of password for user bobvigeant@myfairpoint.net did not succeed. Mail server pop3.fairpoint.net responded: Auth-Status: Invalid login or password", then, "Login to server pop3.fairpoint.net with username bobvigeant@myfairpoint.net failed" giving me the option to enter a new password and the cycle starts over again. I have some Gmail accounts in Thunderbird and those accounts are able to send & receive Emails. Then I could not send or receive Emails using Outlook on computer or on my Android phone. My internet service provider, Consolidated Communications changed my password and Outlook & Android are now fine with the Emails, but not Firefox, Consolidated thinks it's a Thunderbird issue. Can anyone help???

A couple of months ago I borked my thunderbird installation and ended up having to re-install and import my old emails. I ended up having to do it a few times before getting all of my old emails imported correctly. At least I thought I did. Not all but quite few emails are now showing blank Subject and Correspondent fields and the message body is displayed in HTML code. I tried the "repair folder" function and it has not effect. Please see attached screenshot

I have used Thunderbird and my mail server for twenty - thirty years with no problem. about two weeks ago Thunderbird came up with message failed to connect with mail server, connection timed out. This happened all the time. After a few days I deleted then re-installed Thunderbird, now when I try to set up new mail account it says cannot find settings for email account. I spoke to my mail server account help but they were not helpful, immediately saying it was a third party problem. Please help.

Hi, I'm using Thunderbird 115.4.1 and Windows 8.1 Pro. Ever since the Supernova update, TB crashes pretty much daily (up to 3x a day). I turned off auto-updates as soon as I found out how to, since everything was so confusing and didn't work the way I was used to. Now I'm afraid to do any more updates since I don't want a whole bunch of other things to get screwed up. I have learned to kind of work around the problem areas, though it's frustrating. But I don't want to spend another 10-15 hours trying to fix new problems. Any suggestions? I can't seem to find any information about people who have had this crashing problem and then had it resolved through an update. Thanks

I've been using Thunderbird to access email services from Protonmail, after using Proton's Bridge programme to link Thunderbird to my Protonmail a/c. After shutting down my computer one day I can no longer get emails. I can send them without any problem but not get them. Help please. Thanks, Charles

I have linked Thunderbird to my iCloud mail using Apple's straightforward app-specific password facility. Thunderbird recognises the basic folders (inbox etc...) and I can send / receive mails.

Thunderbird does not recognise the majority of iCloud's Mail Folder hierarchy so most of my mail 'history' going back 20 years is missing. It is still present if I view it on iCloud's web service.

Two random folders (each containing 30+ mails) are available through the Thunderbird client. The remaining 70-80 folders are not.

This is a very simple Thunderbird set up, single e-mail account, no messaging or anything else (no need, don't want).

HP laptop, Windows 11, Intel i5 - plenty of RAM and local storage

Witam, thunderbrid w dniu dzisiejszym zaczął bardzo wolno działać . próbowałem uruchomić aplikację kilkukrotnie ale bardzo wolne jest jej działania. bardzo długo aplikacja otwiera e-maile oraz pokazuje ikone braku odpowiedzi na laptopie korzystamy z ubuntu . problem jest od dzisiaj przedtem program działał prawidłowo expo@telvinet.pl szef@i-ogrod.pl proszę o pilną pomoc jak naprawić aplikację ponieważ nie możemy nic zrobić w firmie.

Hi, our company is using a program called Visma Administration 1000 as economy system. Since we have macbook computers we thus have a Microsoft Remote Desktop downloaded, since the economy system only works through Windows! Anyhow, we then use Thunderbird as a local e-mail which is connected to the economy system, and through which we can send our orders, invoices etc to our email. However, ever since a few weeks back a troubleshooting messege has occured making us unable to send the emails; referring to a problem with the outgoing SMTP server. However, after speaking with an IT Support guy who looked it thorugh he said that everything looked like it should. BUT I am wondering if it might have anything to do with the server/thunderbird being blocked by the program, which I don't know how to check... Does anyone know how to fix it?

The error message is in swedish but translates to: "The message could not be sent. The message could not be sent because the connection to the outgoing server (smtp01.binero.se) failed. The server may be unavailable or is denying connection to the outgoing server (SMTP). Please check that your outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again."

I really appreciate any help I can get!! Thank you in advance, kind regards Ella
