Hello,

Does anybody knows why or how this happened? Thunderbird has worked just fine since the May 1. My internet connection works well. Has anybody had this problem before?

I don't wish to use the calendar that comes with Thunderbird, but instead continuing with my Macintosh iCal.

1) How do I switch off the Thunderbird calendar function? 2) How do I get the calendar invitations sent to me as an ICS file attachments, that I can open in Mac iCal. Just like in Airmail and in Microsoft Outlook.

I have a number of pop3 accounts with the same mail host, but suddenly one of them gives me the message "Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write privileges, and you have enough disk space to copy the mailbox."

I use Thunderbird on two Windows machines, and the problem is on both, so it is something in the interaction with the server, however, there is no problem accessing the mail via webmail directly on the server.

I have tried to change password on the account, but the problem did not go away. In fact, I got the box to tell me that the old password did no longer work, so I know that the problem pops up after log in to the account. Before the error message appears, the message "downloading 208 messages" (or something similar) briefly appears.

Is there a way to find out exactly what fails?

Some html text is hard to read, I would like a button, to make it all one more readable font. (font override toggle button to variable lenth font) and a button to make it a fixed length font (font override toggle button to fixed lenth font) Maybe a button to also strip formatting like bold/italic/coloring etc..

The solution

Preferences > General > Language & Appearance > Fonts & Colors > Default font > Advanced > Font Control > Use fixed width font for plain text

Which is too deep into the setting to casually flip for one message and then bring back to normal. I don't want this forever, just when there's one hard to read email.

Running 149.0.2 on Mac. Reorganized IMAP folders in Roundcube webmail. Thunderbird still shows old structure. Deleted folderCache.json, no change. No Subscribe option in right-click menu. Many thanks!

The summary says it - How do I make Thunderbird automatically close the 'original' message when I click Reply or Forward?

Outlook does this, and I find it odd that Thunderbird does not have a toggle for this. I find that I end up the day having to close out a dozen or so 'original' messages...

Please tell me there is a switch somewhere! :)

After the last update when trying to send email I get the warrning of app: errer with "smtp.gmail.com". Any idea on how to fix it? Thank you for your help.
