I need help with an abusive administer he only an administer because he stole my e-commerce operating system in 2017 by putting malware on to my keyboard port so no key board would type I could not stop him I was originally hacked in 2014 I shut down my system that was unopened at the time for two years until I had gone through 25 devices because the abusive administer put malware onto all my devices and ruined them this has got to stop u just won money I can’t get into my google account because he changed my password and took my phone numbers because of so I can change the password to get into it I have about 25 google accounts for this reason every time something good happens and money is involved he takes my accounts so it don’t happen this isn’t the firsts time he has done this very same thing some one has to stop this criminal He takes Money off my cards and spends my money how much more of this do I have to put up with he is not an administer he is a hacking thief and I demand help

Since changing my email password on my BT Mail server, Thunderbird will not send emails. I get a popup saying Sending and a blue line which never completes. When I cancel it I get the following:

Sending of the message failed. Unable to authenticate to Outgoing server (SMTP) mail.btinternet.com. Please check the password and verify the 'Authentication method' in 'Account Settings | Outgoing server (SMTP)'.

There is no password change option on the Outgoing Server (SMTP). Connection Security is set to SSL/TLS and Authentication method is "Normal Password".

I can receive emails with no problems.

Running Thunderbird, with auto login to my ATT.NET account. I recently changed my ATT.NET PW (on ATT.NET) Thunderbird is still able to log on to my ATT.NET account and rec/send emails. I went into PW manager and removed the saved PW for my ATT email account.

I am having a problem with incoming emails appearing in non-HTML format (see below), and I have checked "Allow remote content in messages" and there are no exceptions. I am setting up PGP in Thunderbird. Sometimes I want to send an email which is signed but not encrypted. However, before I send this to someone else I want to make sure that it works. So I sent an email to myself (2 different accounts which I both control and have added to Thunderbird). The email has the signature attached but the Thunderbird UX doesn't give me any information about whether or not it successfully verified the signature. I tried downloading the `.eml` file and checking the signature against that, but it failed (I'm assuming that I tried to verify the wrong thing, not that the signature is actually bad).

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm using Thunderbird 115.7.0 (64 bits). Cannot send messages from my email account: katy.vandenhoek@gmail.com. It says it cannot make connection to server smtp.gmail.com. Receiving emails is OK. The other emailaccounts are working OK. Looks like there is something wrong with the authentification. Reïnstalling Thunderbird didn't help.

Setting up a desktop (Dell Inspiron) for neighbors using latest Linux Mint (21.3 Cinnamon). They have simple needs, LibreOffice, Firefox and email. Plain jane, nothing extra added, straight from latest Mint install.

I am having trouble adding a second email account in Thunderbird (115.8.1). First comcast account was very easy, standard comcast defaults, works fine, downloads and sends. Second comcast account keeps giving "Unable to Connect" poput screen. (https://localhost/?code=0.ac.w2.PciwTw)

I can login to either Xfinity email account through Firefox browser using same addresses ((username)@comcast.net) and passwords I am using to attempt to add second account in Thunderbird.

Tried it with Mint Firewall off, then on, then off again. Do I need to setup firewall for second account?

Can someone give me a hint on this problem? Is is Thunderbird? Comcast? Something else?

My PGP subkeys are on a Smartcard (Yubikey).

I'm running Thunderbird 115.8.0 (64-bit) on Windows 11 Enterprise (23H2; 22631.3235) with Gpg4win-4.3.0.

I configured an external key ID per Thunderbird:OpenPGP:Smartcards#Allow_the_use_of_external_GnuPG. I've imported my public key into Thunderbird's key manager.

However, when I try to send a digitally signed message, sending fails and the console in Browser Toolbox says "Error: invalid configuration, request to use external GnuPG key, but GPGME isn't working".

The GPGME shared library is installed at path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Gpg4win\bin_64\libgpgme-11.dll" and "C:\Program Files (x86)\GnuPG\bin\libgpgme-11.dll". PATH contains "C:\Program Files (x86)\Gpg4win\..\GnuPG\bin".

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

I have Thunderbird 115.8.0 installed on my MacBook Pro with two email accounts, Yahoo and Gmail. I have set up the Tools/Message Filters/Block Filters as well. When I first launch Thunderbird all the spam shows up in my inbox, and just sits there. What I have to do is go to Tools/Message Filters at which point I'm asked to select an account. I select Yahoo (my primary account) and then "Run Filters" before anything actually happens. Then if I go back to my inbox, the spam emails start disappearing. It seems that Thunderbird does not remember the "Yahoo" selection in filters in between launches. Is there a setting I am missing, or is this just the product of having two different email accounts? Po wpisaniu hasła program uruchamia się do końca prawidłowo. Wystarczy jednak kliknąć przycisk ANULUJ, aby z pominięciem hasła mieć dostęp do poczty. Dlaczego?

I had to change my gmail pwd due to a possible security breach as reported to me by Experian.

After the change, Tbird flashed this error message upon the next startup (please see image)

After about 20 minutes of poking about, I found where I could change the password for my google account. I changed it to the new password. There is zero chance I got it wrong because I copy/pasted it from my pwd mgr. I still get this error message making T'bird useless to me.

I'm definitely let down that such as simple op as pwd change was so difficult to find and now seems impossible to do. I haven't a CLUE what the STAT command is or how to address this condition.

Any suggestions are greatly welcomed.

After changing passwords at the email provider, it asked for and saved the passwords for the incoming server. It asked for the SMTP password for the first account and saved that (using that username) but did not ask for or save passwords for the other accounts using the same SMTP server.

So... email can be received on three accounts but can be only sent from one. Is there some way to add the passwords?

Since within no more than two hours after the validity of a new security certificate began I could no longer receive emails in Thunderbird (although I can in other email programs or webmail) I keep getting asked to add a security exception but cannot do so. The certificate and the pop-up screen are attached. The location shown is that of my service provider. I am using Thunderbird 115.7.0 in Windows 10. What can I do?

Recently my Thunderbird started asking for my passwords every time I opened it (I have multiple Hotmail accounts). After I added the passwords it would keep asking for them over and over again (they were ALL correct). I have now uninstalled and re-installed the latest version of Thunderbird and only added 1 account back in and it still keeps doing the same. The password is visible and correct in the saved passwords section. I am now having to use another client (Outlook,which works correctly, but isnt a patch on Thunderbird) Running MACOS 12.7.3 Any help would be greatly appreciated.
