originally had 1 imap account on my linux mint installation now have 2 accounts and get a pop error msg and no emails since DEC 2023 iF I DELETE TB and reinstall will we loose all our mail, contacts and etc or which account do we delete so as only to have imap and all past mail and etc regards
Emails which I send or receive get shortened and attached to other emails, so I can not receive the full message. How can I prevent this? John

Hi folks! I use Thunderbird Beta (128.0b1 (64-bit)) for my email currently. I've been having a problem with some emails, mainly in my Sent folder, showing up as long strings when I try to view them. It looks like untranslated code put into plain text to me, but I'm not sure what would be causing it. I have no problem reading the email if I log into our webmail to do so. Example text from an email attached. Is this a known problem? Any ideas on how I might solve it? I like Thunderbird, but not being able to search and read through sent emails is a real problem. Thanks!

When I open a message in my TB 115 Inbox, and wish to zoom in or out on the message using the keyboard commands for Zoom (Command+Plus, Command-Minus, Command-0), nothing happens.
I am running TB 115.3.1. My OS is Mac OS Monterey, 12.7.3
I have restarted TB 115 in Troubleshoot Mode, and the shortcuts still do not work. I have manually disabled all add-ons, and this has made no difference, either.
The only thing that works for zooming in or out on an email is to first use the drop-down menu for View -> Zoom. Then the Zoom keyboard shortcuts do work for that specific email. With each different email, the keyboard shortcuts for Zoom do not work, unless I first use the drop-down menu commands.
How do I get the keyboard shortcuts for Zoom to work without having to first use the drop-down menu?

When I click on 'Outgoing Server', then 'Edit', there isn't an 'OAuth2' option listed as an option in the drop-down list for Authentication Method.
I updated to the most recent Thunderbird, and the option is still not listed.
Please let me know what I need to do to set up OAuth.

Em client, which seems to me to be the nearest competitor, has a way in settings to set up a routine automatic backup for every three days.

Hi, I recently updated T-bird to 128.1 and find it no longer allows my address book contacts to be exported to my Windows pc desktop in .csv format. It only allows 'import' from my pc desktop.
