Changing Thunderbird version
I had Thunderbird 128. I want to install Thunderbird 115. I uninstalled 128 and tried to download 115. The download is always 128. How can I resolve this?

Hi, After migrating email server, I am having problems synchronizing some IMAP accounts, but Thunderbird is unable to organize the emails and it corrupts the display. In Webmail it is normal and I have no problems accessing it. Coincidence or not, but the emails that are causing this problem are emails that have more than 80Gb. What I did to see if it would improve, was to divide the emails into folders by year, to reduce the size of the email occupancy, but it didn't work. At first, right when I implemented it, they asked to modify this configuration:
Edit → Preferences → Advanced → General → Configuration Editor. Follow the procedure: Locate a key called: mailnews.customDBHeaders Change it to: Received After that restart the application --> Right click on the folder and go to Properties --> Repair Folder
This worked for a few days, but then it started having problems and even repairing the folder, but it didn't help. What they told me was an issue with Thunderbird reading email data on their server, but the problem continued. They kind of "washed" their hands, since it's ok on their server and asked to test it on another email client. Has anyone experienced this problem? Attached is an image of what the email looks like, there are several with the data that I asked to repair, but empty. I've already updated to the latest version of Thunderbird, but it's still like this.

I donated to MZLA, looking forward to an "improved" Thunderbird. I am very frustrated by the result.
Downloaded and started new Thunderbird, and I have several questions:
This is a serious inquiry; I am desperate for information & help.
1. What happened to my address book? How can I get it back? A hundred or more addresses just disappeared.
2. What happened to all of my saved messages? How can I get them back? I used to have a neatly organized file of saved messages. If I was still using Tbird for my business, I would be looking for a lawyer. As it is, I am simply looking for something as useful as the old Tbird.
3. How can I save a message to a specific category or off line file? I used to have several hundred categorized files in my data base for saved messages.
4. Why does my effort to use a help request not respond to my mouse clicks? It seems to always want more donations.
5. Can I go back to the old version? It was easier to use and more straightforward.
6. What am I missing in this "new and improved" version? Is there another email application that would give me the nice features of the old Thunderbird?
7. Can I revert back to the old Tbird and recover the extensive lost addresses and saved messages?
8. If I decide the "new and improved" Tbird will not provide the features the old one did, how can I get a refund of my contribution?

Is there a thunderbird mobile app? If not is there one in the process of being developed? Thunderbird is amazing and if love to use it on all of my devices.

Something new is going on internally to the program while the hour-glass appears for a few seconds more than before (I did not change any settings w/ latest upgrades).

Ich habe schon alles ausprobiert, die korrekten Passwörter von T-Online eingebeben, die Passwörter geändert, nichts hilft. Ich habe auch schon Thunderbird neu installiert, doch alles ohne Erfolg. Könntet ihr mir bitte weiterhelfen, das ich dieses wundervolle Programm wieder nutzen kann?

Hello, I'm new to this Thunderbird I'm using a desktop computer with Win 10 and Office 2016. I have been having issues with outlook 2016, it keep asking for my credentials and I can't seem to be able to find any solutions so a friend recommended Thunderbird to me. I'm trying it and so far my emails are synchronized but not my calendar nor my address book. I cant seem to find where Thunderbird can sync with those two. I do not want to import into the app but sync like my iPhone is doing so if I enter an event in any of them it will show up in the other one. Pretty simple but I can not find this in the Thunderbird desktop app.

I followed a prompt to compact the data in my Thunderbird email folders. After I did so, I found that the content of all the emails I sent after 4-16-22 was missing. The list of the sent emails was still there but the message box was blank for all those emails. I know who an email was sent to but not what was in the email. This was on my laptop. Surprisingly, these emails did not disappear from Thunderbird on my desktop computer. How can I recapture the sent emails in my laptop?

I have two other connections via gmail.com and it works fine. I have people who are still using Suddenlink emails to me and I would like to see them on Thunderbird. I came to Thunderbird because I have been using an email server - btinternet - for many years and it has become clogged with a backlog of emails many of which were not opened and remain so. I would like to retain my email address, John.romm@btinternet.com, it is a vitally important one for my work. But I would ike to use and manage it Thunderbird which is already working well for me. However, it is important to do both of two things. First, I need to bulk delete all unopened emails - some 160,000 of them. And second, I would like to construct filters to keep a wide range of incoming emails out of my inbox. Please help!

Unable to authenticate to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.telstra.com. Microsoft sent me this: Various non-Microsoft applications will have their own steps for connecting to your Outlook.com email account using modern authentication methods. See our help article - Modern Authentication Methods now needed to continue syncing Outlook Email in non-Microsoft email apps. However, you may need to contact the creators of those applications to provide you with instructions. In many cases, simply removing and re-adding your account with the latest version of that application will configure it to use modern authentication methods.
Will Thunderbird continue to link me to Outlook? If so, how?
