1. When I Start Thunderbird -- View when it Open with All tab Showing 2. When I Closed All Tab and Only one Main Tab Open for Message 3. Already Ticked Before Opening Thunder Bird and it is Currently Active Tick. “Close message window/tab on move or delete” 4. Version 91.1.0 (64 bit) -- for your kind reference.

5. And Now we Closed the Thunder Bird Window and try to ReOpen Again all the Tab which I Cancel As per Above will be reflected again. Kindly find below Screen Grab for your kind reference.

I can't back-up my mailbox.

  • I have the same problem as in the question from markosv63 8/19/20, 10:01 PM (now archived) in that I have many emails in many folders.
  • The procedure recommended to markosv63 doesn't work. That procedure is in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/imap-synchronization#w_configuring-synchronization-and-disk-space-usage.
  • I don't think I use an imap account because my server type is POP Mail - Port 110 (default).
  • I followed exactly the recommended procedure but the result was a folder marked updates, containing a folder marked 8216C80C92C4E828.
  • 8216C80C92C4E828 contains a folder marked updates plus two files, one file called update-config.json and the other called updates. This updates folder contains an empty folder marked 0 plus two files, marked backup-update and last-update.
  • None of these files or folders contains any emails.

Is there a way to increase the display (menus, addresses, etc) font size? I have already searched the forum and the suggestions are no longer applicable. There is no "Config Editor" or a "layout css.devPixelPerPx" file as referenced in existing the current suggestions as a way to increase font size. Using TB 78.10.

I don't want to reinstall and have to redo all my settings - anything I can do for this?

All else works OK on the PC, Thunderbird was OK before.

Any way to back up my settings so I don't have to do all that again?

When I click "Print" nothing happens...no dialog box, no printing, nothing happens. If I click "Print Preview" I'm told "the selected printer cannot be found". I can't find any way to get to a print dialog box or to select a printer.

Printer is working fine in every other program including Firefox.

I'm using Win 10, TB 78.12 64bit with Epson ET 5170

How do I disable the ANNOYING message box I get every time I want to send a message to the trash folder. Thunderbird keeps asking me if I want the message deleted to save disk space. This just started in the past week. I want my deleted messages to go to the trash folder and I will manage that folder. I can't seem to find anything in settings that lets me disable this option.

Recently I was required to change my password for my att.net account (sbcglobal.net email). After that I cannot receive emails from that account. Thunderbird is able to retrieve emails from my google email, but not the att.net account. I keep receiving the attached message.

I have tried resetting the password under "Saved Passwords" without success. I have verified using the same incoming and outgoing server as before. Also tried going back to att.net and changing the password back to the original without success. When I contacted ATT they seemed to indicate that the server settings were correct. I even tried to remove the account and entering it again in Thunderbird.

There is a lot of useful information available that users have submitted, however with my limited understanding the suggestions haven't solved the problem. It seems that the problem is with the account settings within Thunderbird, but can't seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Translation: Error sending the message.

Failed to send the message. The participant's certificate of communication has been revoked. The configuration related to "s32.creative-it.pl" needs to be corrected.

I have had messages go into the bulk mail file when I mark these as not junk they are automatically moved to my in box, but when the same person sends me a new email it goes into my bulk mail file. How do I stop this happening as these emails are important or alternatively how can I tell Thunderbird to use my email providers junk filters.

Hi everybody,

I was just w riting to ask as I can only seem to increase the font of the e-mail written text, but really the interface size is absolutely ridiculously small and is there any way I can enlarge this (without reducing the resolution of my monitor which is not really a solutuion)

Not everyone has the best eyesight for this kind of thng and I find thunderbird the best mail and calander client but at least on windows or in browser-mail I can CTRL+ to zoom in and read, it's at the stage where I might have to use the windows magnifying tool just to see t hings like "inbox" "spam" and my list of emails' titles.

Please tell me there exists an option to make all this larger like interface size, I mean come on almost every modern software has an option bar slider to increase these things

I've been with Mozilla since the Netscape days and found FF and TB outstanding programs. The last year or so things have been changing with constant nag popups to update things almost daily. I have had Thunderbird and FF both set to NOT do the auto update! Tuesday morning I opened my system and found Thunderbird had updated itself..... It wanted me to setup new accounts. I figured that if I started setting things up it would recognize me and auto complete the setup. It didn't auto complete and after going through the first one I find that ALL MY EMAIL, EVERYTHING saved, was GONE, DISAPPEARED, NOWHERE TO BE FOUND!!!!!! I am so PI$$ed and disgusted with Mozilla Org now it's not funny. Have not been able to find any way to restore things. I would think if a company was going to do such a massive update that changed things they would notify their users to backup or save the data. NO CHANCE...just blindly stumble through!!! I had business email, personal email, family email, MEDICAL emails saved in my Inbox folders. Most of the info stored is not on paper so as I said Thunderbird massively screwed up! RW

All of a sudden I cannot see my Unified folders. I have to go to each e-mail address to see what e-mails have come in to my Inbox.

I liked the option of using Unified folders so I could see the e-mails from all my different e-mail addresses on one page.

Please help.

This problem just started in the last couple of hours.

I am not interested in updating from version 68 at this time (or the near future, the current version truly stinks in the way it looks and is unusable) and want to stop the software from nagging me about updates! I can find no answers anywhere.

I reset my Hotmail password - yesterday. Now, I am unable to receive any Hotmail emails on my Windows PC's - I get an error I have reset the password on my two android devices and they work OK I have tried POP3 and IMAP and both error My main email works - just not Hotmail I noticed that the server settings have changed to incoming OUTLOOK.OFFICE365.COM outgoing SMTP.OFFICE365.COM and, since I don't have office365 - wonder IS THIS THE PROBLEM ?
