I have an existing list on my email and I want to add new names to that list. The system won't let me add a contact on my inventory of contacts either by name or by email address. How do I update my list. It will let me delete names

This is probably an utterly nitwitty question, but I would like to forward around 500 messages from one specific Thunderbird-folder to my gmail-account - preferably in one go, not one at a time. Is there a way to get this done?

How can I re-set a new password for Thunderbird email? I am trying to set up a new tablet and receive my mail in Thunderbird on it. It keeps asking me for my password. I tried the one I had in my records from years ago, but it will not accept it. I am an ordinary user, not an expert at this. Thank you for any help.

Hi guys, on my thunderbird postal home page, in the lower right corner, is appeared a red signal about the IMAP storage space. It looks at 97% !!! I've tried to move several messages ( some years) storing them in a Local folders, but I haven't had any reduction in the percentage. What i can do !!!??? Thanks for your help

ciao a tutti, da qualche giorno la gmail gestita con thunderbird ha smesso di funzionare. io ho windows 7. credo sia un problema di qualche aggiornamento. da 2 giorni esce un messaggio che dice che è impossibile connettere imap.gmail.com e ha smesso di funzionare. ho già provato a modificare il file security.tls.version.min in thunderbird abbassando il valore di sicurezza nell'editor di configurazione di thunderbird, impostando valore da 3 a 1, come ho trovato in un forum. ma non funziona. qualcuno può aiutarmi?? vi prego. grazie

Hi. There is a vertical spacer or seperator to the right of the folders three on the left. This spacer or seperator line can be moved to the left or right. Is there a way to freeze it or lock it in a specific position as to avoid accidental movement? I'm writing a script to automate some things. Thunderbird and of course Firefox are part of this automation. Any movement of this seperator would complicate my script.

Can it be locked in place?

I just received a robot call from 1-206-350-xxxx claiming to be from Mozilla Thunderbird help, which if I remember correctly, is an email service that my dad uses. This was an unsolicited call from a "David" in the help department of Mozilla Thunderbird. I do not use Thunderbird so I have no idea where they obtained my phone number from. The phone number that the robot call and the over eager technician provided is the following. 1-800-836-xxxx 315-636-xxxx. If this is not a scam please disregard, but if it turns out to be, please warn others to be on guard against opening up their computers or phones to allow the criminals access to personal data. Hey guys! I am trying to set up Thunderbird to work with ProtonMail. I got through the first few steps in the guide here: https://protonmail.com/bridge/ Since ProtonMail is encrypted, the bridge decrypts the incoming emails and encrypts the out coming ones. I had no problems installing and configuring the ProtonMail bridge. Where I get a problem is with the instructions to configure Thunderbird. I contacted ProtonMail support but no replies yet.

The Thunderbird I installed is version 68.9.0. Here is where I get stuck: https://protonmail.com/bridge/thunderbird#1 The instructions are as follows: "To configure the bridge with Thunderbird, first open the application and right-click in the sidebar. Choose Settings"

Problem is, the Thunderbird page I get looks nothing like the one pictured in the ProtonMail guide. And when I right-click on the sidebar nothing happens. I can't find 'settings' anywhere.

Can you help?
