Hi,

Pressing "enter" seems to double space next line my text automatically on platforms, and pressing "alt+enter" does single spacing next line. Is there anyway to change it to single spacing? Some older help threads mention going to settings or tools to find the "composition" option but that doesn't seem to exist anymore?

Thanks

Since I first started using FIREFOX and THUNDERBIRD many years ago they have been virtually trouble free, but after the most recent update of THUNDERBIRD the NEW MESSAGE tab has stopped working. I have not, and never have, changed any SETTINGS and I checked my default email address as suggested, and it is exactly as it always has been. The various HELP options that have come up on internet searches have not worked, so I would appreciate some 'plain English' step by step instructions on how the problem can be fixed.

I really appreciate Mozilla enabling me to avoid Google etc as much as possible, and the AI assist on internet searches with has been really helpful. At MOZILLA's suggestion, I am using Privacy Badger and Ad Nauseum, but don't really understand what they do. Thank you, Alan Upritchard. alan.upritchard@xtra.co.nz, an email address I have had for something like 40 years.

My ability to send email from kay@haushousellc.com from Thunderbird stopped working on both of my computers. Msg came up saying the smtp server had timed out. Walked away for several hours and tried again with the same result. Today, I checked the settings and saw a different smtp server for the email, so I changed it. Still doesn't work inside the Thunderbird environment. A msg pops up saying the imap.haushousellc.com certificate is not valid. Someone may be trying to impersonate and don't continue. So I changed the to imap.netfirms.com. Still doesn't work. I went to Netfirms.com, launched through Roundcube and was able to sent without a problem. I am at a loss! I think this may be a result of the last Thunderbird update. Don't know how you will respond, but kay@allyourstrorage.com will work.

How can I recover my sbcglobal.net email account that I used in Thunderbird for years It stopped being able to send or receive emessages after a series of Thunderbird updates. I believe that Yahoo and ATT now control the sbcglobal.net domain. Any help you might be able to offer would be most appreciated.

Hello I have asked this before but i did not get an answer i could use i did get an answer but it did not work. So i am asking again. I can run Thunderbird for like a month and then all of a sudden all inbox mail goes to trash folder abut not with the name of the sender with my name as the sender I have reinstalled several times i have changed my security gone from 64 it to 32 bit removed some add ons or extensions. Now it is run from Comcast email and that is correct as far as i know. Not sure i have it filtered correctly i am stumped please help me here . every time i d reinstall i need to put back manually all my contacts and that takes forever . Please i have even disabled Norton antivirus for 1 hour and it was doing this with windows explorer as well so please I know i asked this before but nothing worked. I hate to stop using Thunderbird but if this keeps happening i may need to. the only extensions i have in Thunderbird enabled are emojis, config button, restart, and ublblock.
