I'm using Firefox Version 60.8.0(32 bits) on Windows 10. Using POP3 to download messages. The message pane most of the time immediately displays the selected message. But once in a while, I just get a blank message pane. The if I hit the "Today Pane" button, the message will appear. Also another related issue. Sometimes when I read an email that has in-line multiple images, one or more may be missing. Sometimes all the images. If I hit the "Today Pane" button, most of the time the message and the pictures will appear in the message pane. Other times it may leave a space or spaces where an image should be. Any suggestions to eliminate both issues?
Can I use "Thunderbird" to replicate my past email correspondence accumulated on Yahoo Mail servers onto another cloud based location as a backup, and how?

The Yahoo Mail servers suffered an outage for several hours recently, not for the first time. I created an emergency Gmail account which might or might not be linked to my Yahoo account (difficult to tell). But this does not allow me to access and reply to previous correspondence. I was told on a different forum that I could download "Thunderbird" which would allow me to create a duplicate cloud-based historical email "archive" that I could access in such emergencies. I would have to update if from time to time as per usual backups. If so, from what I could tell the procedures would not seem to be simple. Any guidance would be appreciated, tks.

The mail.strictly_mine fix does not make ????'s go away permanently. I agree with observation of Walt.

Every time I open my Mozella Thunderbird Email, I get this Login Message from Google saying I need to re-logn to get my GMail email messages. This only started with Thunderbird v 60.7.0 I reinstalled Thunderbird v 52.2.1 but I get the same error message even though I didn't get it what I was using v 52.2.1 before.
I don't need to re-log in to Google because the Google GMail email is already coming in on Thunderbird (either version) before the darn popup error message is displayed.
Any help you can provide to tell me how to stop these popup error messages would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't been using Thunderbird for very long in my Mac environment but i got fed up completely with apple mail over many years and wanted something better which i have found with Thunderbird but there is one thing i am not sure if it will do or is available and that is when i receive an email or send an email i would like to be able to somehow date the email for it to remind me to come back to it in the future at some point. I know you can mark emails and tag them but i would like to see just a simple drop down, mark for future action and the date and the system will remind me at that point by bringing the email to the top of the inbox or sending me an email about it. I don't know if this exists in any way or whether i have explained it correctly but i get an awful lot of mail and sometimes i just want to say remind me in an hour day, week month or a specific time to go back and deal with it. Does this exist in some sort of simple way or is this a big issue to include? I have no idea I am simply a user who likes Thunderbird and would like to see it even better.

Example1: 2 attachments, Att1 and Att2 produces Att1, Att1_1, Att2, Att2_1 (four downloaded files instead of two). Example2: 12 attachments (i.e., monthly bank statements for a year) produces 12 copies of EACH document for a total of 144 downloaded files. If I select just one file at a time to download, I get just one file; but it would be nicer to select all of them and download without having to delete all the extras that result. Is there a way to fix this? Using Thunderbird 60.6.0 on Mac Sierra OS
