I've been a fan of Thunderbird for years but recently the Labels column has such become a shambles I will soon be forced to find an alternative Mail Client which I would prefer not to do. Can the good folks at Mozilla confirm that they are working on these problems.
The list is long, but here are a few -
The Delete button doesn't work. The message(s) just disappear into thin air instead of into the Bin folder.
I've been dragging 'used' message to the Bin label (rather than loose them with the Delete button) and got up to over 400 listed. Next time I looked, over 300 are missing with the recorded number now down to 81.
Some labels don't record the correct number of 'Unread' messages.
A 'Company' label has lost many important business messages and is now down to 6. - A huge problem.
A 'Reference' label has lost all messages. - Another big problem.
The 'Drafts' label simply doesn't record anything.
I'm not a complete novice with Thunderbird, and because everything has been working well for so long, I haven't had to change any settings or options.
One good point. The Junk button works, listing messages and quantities correctly. This option is the least of my worries.
As a last resort, is it possible to reinstall older versions of Thunderbird?
Where are the 'lost' message and can I get them back?
