Hello, (I'm french and not very good at english, please excuse me). Since Microsoft changed the protocole for email with hotmail, I can't receive or send messages from thunderbird on my computer (W10). Is there a solution? Could you explain the steps to configure Thunderbird with hotmail? Thanks for answers. Best regards Maice

I accidentally wiped my boss's computer and now all of his folders from thunderbird are missing. I am able to find the .json file with the folder tree and have tried several times to import that profile so that the folders will populate again with no success can anyone ELI5?

1. When I start Thunderbird, the first thing that comes up is the "misinformation" "No message found". Only some time later is the inbox with the new messages displayed. The initial "misinformation" is annoying.

2. When I open a message, I have to constantly click backwards until I get back to the inbox. Why is there no button for this?

Hi. My thunderbird was not loading or sending emails. I checked for updates and everything was up to date. I tried some trouble shooting articles. One said to make sure my server setting was correct. I went into settings and changed the server name and then all of my emails in my inbox disappeared. I tried to change it back and they are still gone. I am not a technical person, should have put them all on my computer before I did this- yes, my error. Is there any way to recover those emails, and how do I get my email to work correctly again?

Hello all, since a couple of weeks and, after year of use, the add-on Mail Merge crash… even delete the email. Please, any help to fix it? I belive crash when "send later" active, not in "send now". Thanks in advance, Asis

I deleted some emails that I would like to recover. They went to Trash, and I deleted them from there. Is there a way to recover these accidentally deleted emails ?

I have been away from this laptop for about 7 months; now, when I try to access TBird, it seems to hang indefinitely [I haven't timed it but it seems like more than half an hour, maybe a lot more] displaying "xxxx@xxxxx.com: Host contacted, sending login information" in the bar at the bottom of the screen ... Every once in a long while, it jumps up and asks for my password. I give the one that relates to the "xxx" email address above and it rejects it as incorrect. I have checked that the password works to get into this account on webmail.

Can anyone help? I don't remember having this problem before. I am using TB 115.10.1 (64-bit) many thanks, filter feeder

I recently donated to TBird but it is unable to send any emails. So I uninstalled it and tried to download a fresh copy but I couldn't avoid the donating page. I paid again but I just get a page telling me to finish downloading - but not how to do so. I've waited half an hour but nothing has been downloaded. If it's still possible to download TBird, how can I do it - preferably without repeatedly paying?
