Hi, I've used Mozilla Thunderbird for years to import all my Tiscali (talktalk) emails with no problems.

Now, I can’t get any emails as the server settings have changed.

What server settings do I now need to get my system working again?

I have used Thunderbird on a MacBook Pro Max M4 for a while now. It worked fine until starting last Monday. Ever since then, I have to go to 1&1/IONOS e-mail on the web to send e-mails or use my iPhone and blind copy myself. It’s a pain going back and forth.

1&1/IONOS tech support helped me make sure all settings for the outgoing server (smtp) were and are correct. Tests on both incoming and outgoing ports are successful in the Thunderbird settings, so I don't understand why my e-mails are not sending. I have no problem receiving e-mails on Thunderbird. This problem on outgoing e-mails applies to both text-only e-mails and e-mails with attachments. Screenshots are attached.

There is 17.9GB worth of data. Do I perhaps need to delete some of it? I archive old e-mails offline once a year, generally in January for the previous calendar year.

I am trying to connect my Outlook email hosted by Godaddy so I can send/receive on Thunderbird. Godaddy said that the problem was on Thunderbird's end. I have attached the error message that pops up when i try to load email. E-mail is mike@watershedguardians.org

For whatever reason after the lastest Thunderbird update Windstream is refusing the connection to Thunderbird email client. I have gone through all of the delete .msf files for all of the inboxes tried adjusting server settings to no avail on anything.

After fixing the view problem of my email in Thunderbird (thanks for the F8 tip!), my email stopped downloading. I have no "prompt for password" checked. There isn't a primary password checked. I've confirmed the pop outgoing email is correct with the email provider (google). I can get into it without any issues and see my emails there.

I've re-entered the password for the pop outgoing email to no avail.

Error box "Thunderbird failed to find the settings for your email account"

Though I was successful at getting Yahoo to install- I could NOT get my tuta mail account nor my Zoho mail account to install and run. I don't understand why- any solution posted on AI are too technical for me to understand and invest soo much time to try and figure out. Can I please get some help to activate my accounts here ? Thanks! I'm using a macbook Pro M3bold text

Returned from a 1-month trip and my Windows11 would load - repair didn't fix it, so I had to reload Windows.

Now I'm unable to right-click on a photo and send it via my Thunderbird email. When I right-click on 'Send to', there's no email option showing.

My email address is on xxx@tds.net, and then migrates to thunderbird. However 2 days ago it failed to do so. How do I fix that. Is the problem with TDS or Thunderbird. Thanks.

Thunderbird 1 of 7 working Spectrum email accounts stopped retrieving email. Tried to setup the account on new computer and it will to connect to Spectrum's mail server. Able to setup the other 6 on new install Tried under windows and Linux same problem.

I have an email account that was establish 30 years ago that suddenly stop working in Thunderbird but it is accessible through Spectrum's web server.

Spectrum wants me to verify Thunderbird is not the problem. Sounds like passing the buck to me.

I need some help with this one.

I have been using Thunderbird for years and am on version 152.0.1

I also regularly use the Mail Merge add-on and this has worked great. However, just come to use it and it has put 80 messages into my Outbox but I cannot get them to send!

I hit the "Send Unsent Messages" and nothing happens.

Very frustrating and would be very happy if someone can help identify the problem!

I had difficulty getting my thunderbird email to open. Then, when it did open, it uploaded all emails in duplicate. I now have a very full inbox in both my accounts. How can I get thunderbird to remove the duplicates? It would take forever to do this manually.

I just downloaded and put into mirror 'local folders' all my 100 and more folders from yahoo going back 25 years. excellent. I believe they are safe and solid as a rock now? Simple question is how to get all ongoing emails into those folders?

I did all that with an add on called importexporttoolsng which is great but does not live on and monitor new arrivals.

I've been advised to set up an archive folder and put everything in there and i will if i must, of course. but ideally maintaining the current folder structure that yahoo is moving messages into is the best way.

can it be done?
