Previously one could tap view, and see exactly all the transmission details of emails, especially spam or phishing, and I could highlight, copy and paste to send to SpamCop or phishing.gov.uk so the sender could be traced and blocked. This feature seems to have gone with the new update. Sorry if thick but am 79 yo Geri. Cheers and thanks

For some idiotic reason Thunderbird is constantly creating a folder called SPAM. I want this off and never to reappear, so could someone explain how to do this. I have turned of unable adaptive junk mail and turn of the destination and retention.

This behavior is new, completely unnecessary.

Get rid of this new feature, it is not helpful

I recently got a new computer and I have had nothing but problems sending and receiving emails. I keep getting popups asking for my password on pop.mail.yahoo.com, and password on smtp.broadband.rogers.com, and password on imap.mail.yahoo.com

I have no idea what these passwords are and I cannot figure out where to go to find these passwords to change them.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Appreciate any help I can get.

I've used talktalkk for approx 25 years I've tried every password i've had during that time all fail can you help please, both my alternative email adddresses also fail, I suspect tthat the google cartel are blocking them

今回のトラブルは、ver:102.2.2 (64bits)にバージョンアップした時点 でログイン出来なくなり、パスワードの変更を求められました。

現在の状態は、次の通り順番に内容を連絡いたします。 1.プロバイダがYahoo!JAPANからパスワード変更しました。(XXX図) 2.その後にログインした処、ログインに失敗しましたとの表示(CCC& 　DDD図)されました。 3.そこで、メールアドレスのセットアップ(BBB図)しました。 4.次に当ソフトからツール＞設定＞プライバシーとセキュリティ＞パスワード＞ 　保存されているパスワードを開いたら、何と送信メールのプロバイダが欠如 　していました。(AAA図） 以上が現状です。9/10頃から発生していますので、早急に対処手順を当GMAIL に回答返信お願いします。

尚、パソコン２台-メールアドレス：win81web@ybb.ne.jpの環境は次の通りです。 1.NEC VN770RSR Windows8.1>10 Ver.21H2 bilts.19044.2006 (windows11-NO) 2.Dell Inspiron5570 Windows10 Ver.21H2 bilts.19044.2006 (windows11-OK)

It appears that someone else is checking my emails before I do. I have been logged in twice this week to visabily see the emails that I see that are new become, "read", as I am looking at them.

Considering it happened yesterday before I received an email informing me that my storage unit was robbed it happened. Also, ALL of my emails are gone from the past 2 years. Two of them were threats. When I went to print it out..The emails had been replaced with a completely different email and it was marked as read. I actually never read the two. I saw the threats from the subject and did not open them.

What is going on?

I'm using Thunderbird v 91.10.0. SMTP set as per attachment. Still receive "Login to server imap.googlemail.com with username X failed." What else do I need to check? I've browsed a few online suggestions and everything seems to be correctly configured, but obviously something is missing. Please help!

After the setting login change of google on 30 May i can not aproch my e-mail accounts in thunderbird anymore. i have no problem with other email adresses in TB. on my android telephone no problems. on the webmail no problem. i am getting desperate. regards erik platerink --erikplaterink@gmail.com

We have different email accounts that we use on various devices. One account (which used to work), will now not send from my mac. The other accounts send from this mac and I can send from the problem account on my android phone and ipad. It also works fine if I log in to gmail's website.

The problem account receives emails fine.

It says that my password is wrong, but I've tried many times to put in the correct password but nothing changes. I've even tried changing the password but still the same outcome.

It used to work fine and then one day just decided it didn't want to anymore. The only way round it is to save it to drafts and then send it on another device.

I'm using Thunderbird 78.14.0 (64-bit) which my about says is up to date. The problem computer is Mac OS 10.9.5. Yes I know it's old, but as I say the other accounts run fine.

If anyone can suggest something to try can you please write in laymans terms.

I am in the process and think I have completed the process to open up the new Thunderbird access for my e mail. In the previous version I could close my e mail when I had finished writing and or reading/deleting e mails. In this current version I do not seem to see where I can close my e mail when I have finished. Any suggestions?

after update, TBird repeatedly asks for password and then does not accept. have tried to reconfigure settings but to no avail. what is the best outbound server setting?

Hi there, i have a Win10 VM with thundebrird where i cant see/get/try to exisist the PGP end-to-end option in the account config. Every other System running in our organisation has no problems with Thunderbird using the buildin end-to-end config.

I tried the same thunderbolt setup with different accounts and on different systems, in only just doenst exist whithin a win10 VM which is running on a debian host.

Hello, I am trying to log into my thunderbird account from my home computer and it gives me this error message that maybe my username or password are wrong but I am sure it is correct . Can ou please help me

Hi Guys Thanks Matt for your quick reply,the specs will be sent as soon as possible. However I cant do anything on thunderbird without a password,this is keeps asking me for. I have tried every password I have ever had,currently use or possibly will use ,I feel this is the basic problem at present. Would or could you reset the password at your end and send it to me for entry Thanks again Bruce
