Suddenly, Thunderbird stopped delivering emails from one pop 3 gmx.net account (the others are okay, including an IMAP gmx.net account). TB DOES still deliver these emails to my IPhone SE (15.4.1--the current OS). I use TB 91.9.1 on a MacBook Pro OS 10.14.6. I have checked all the settings on TB and GMX. I have deleted a lot of emails and cleaned the cache and compressed folders. I deactivated the firewall. Nothing works. Please help! Nancy

I've been using Thunderbird for many years with great success but I cannot receive emails after the latest update as of 10/5/23. Outgoing mail works fine and I checked with my internet provider (Empire Access) to be sure all my setting were still OK and they told me my setting are correct. My gmail and Empire Access emails still work fine.

when I receive a typed Email, The print is not visible. I have tried going into preference to reset defaults, but the setting reverts to what was previously there. White for color rather than black. Allan

I'm converting from outlook and I'm wondering how to jump to a particular letter in the alphabet with scrolling to get to it when the emails from sorted by alphabetical order. In outlook you just click on the alphabet on your keyboard and it takes you right to the beginning of the emails starting with that letter. Just curious if thunderbird does this or if there is an add-on or shortcut to get there. Thanks.

Last night, all of my Thunderbird mail disappeared. Thousands of messages.

I have 3 email addresses, each from a different server, one being Google.

I work on a Mac, Monterey version 12.6.1

Thunderbird is 115.4.1

The inbox for each of the 3 accounts says how many messages exist, but none are visible.

This morning, incoming mail is visible. But one of my test messages to myself disappeared a little while after I sent it.

I'm pretty devasted! I've used Thunderbird for more years than I can remember.

I've lost messages I need to refer to and templates for business.

I'm highly functuional on my laptop and with my email, but I'm not a tech person.

How can I recover my emails?

My work emails do exist on the server. But much of my gmail is no longer on the server.

I am unable to login to my Thunderbird email account. I was told by my Skybest support team that they would have you call me with the PASSWORD that will allow me to log in. My phone number is 336-200-2068. Thank you!

I recently installed Ubuntu 22.04 and now the address book crashes when I attempt to use it to create an email; thunderbird freezes and give me the window stating 'not responding' and if want to force quit or wait. I end up having to force quit. But I use my address book's saved lists for a number of emails, and now this is not working. How can I fix it? I would need detailed steps, as I am not anything but a general user. Thanks.

I KEEP TRYING TO GO INTO MY E-MAIL AN IT WILL NOT LET ME. IT KEEPS COMING UP SAYING NOT RESPONDING. I AM NOT SURE WHAT TO DO. THE LAST DAY I WAS SENT ANYTHING WAS 11/25/2022. I'm having issues with Thunderbird E-mail. There are folders disappearing and re-appearing in different locations. Also, "duplicate" folders are being created and stored in the e-mail folders list where I keep messages I've received and saved. I've been with on-line assistance through Centurylink help trying to find out what is causing these problems. I have exhausted Centurylinks help when they asked me for the Filters in/or that Thunderbird uses. I'm unfamiliar with where or how to find them. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Just yesterday, I tried to download my latest email with "get messages" on my PC but got a message saying "error with account stanmalette" and "Sending of username did not succeed. Mail server pop.embarqmail.com responded: stanmalette is an invalid mailbox.Account name should be the fully qualified email address". I can still get my thunderbird email on my phone, but the PC seems locked as of 10/24/22. Should I set up the account again, or download Thunderbird again, and should I be pop or imap? I have been using Thunderbird for many years and this was unexpected and confusing. Stan

I have started to have emails disappear from my in box. I have been in touch with my internet provider with no luck as they think it may be some thing with in your system. I am not what you would call computer literate so I have no idea what is going on. Any help will be gratefully received Regards Geoff Chatfield

Today my 102.0.1 has disappeared. TB has worked for me for decades including now on 102.0.1 which is the latest version. I've downloaded 102.0.1 again but still doesn't show up.

suddenly Thunderbird email stopped working. I keep getting a request to input and change my password and have done that several time. I also have gone through all the steps to ensure all the info was correct and connected properly. My email works fine when I login through the internet. Passwords are correct, connection info is correct. My emails work fine on my phone. I have uninstalled the program but it had no effect. I am using version: 102.0.2 (64-bit)

I use Thunderbird since years. Non problem, I'm very happy with it. Two days ago I upgraded my PC to Windows 11, and when I send some emails from one of my three accounts, while copying it in the relevant folder, the shown windows is cut on the right, as per my attached snapshot. Small defect indeed, but... :-)
