I have two units operating with Mozilla program.

On one of them I can only see mails from the last 30 days. On the other one, 10 years.

How do I prevent the delete after 30 days?

When Thunderbird updated today the inbox plane takes up way to much space. How can I make it smaller? It wont let me slide the bar up.

I recently have a new dialog box at the bottom of my email inbox. It opens with a welcome and asks for a donation. It then shows the top part of whatever email I click on in the inbox. I see no purpose for it and would like to delete it. How can I delete it?

Not sure if this is the place to ask, but I have a question about the latest Beta that I'm running from snap.

I've installed my userChrome.css file in the same place on this install as on the stable release but it doesn't seem to be picked up (at least none of the color changes have any effect).

Is this being deprecated in the new Thunderbird?

If so, is there another way I can change the colors on new emails etc?

After being abandoned by my ISP (and the problems this caused) I installed Thunderbird. Some month after this I raised an email account for my wife - so that I could do her entries to a sports club.

Now when I raise a business email to firms, the reply is sent to her account.

Could you advise me what if anything I've done wrong please?

When my customer receives my email reply from me, my reply winds up at the bottom of thread rather than the top where it should be. They are looking at the top of the thread and see nothing. My customers aren't happy about that. Can I change this?

Vcard is not enabled in my settings (see screen shot) But whenever I send an email a blank card appears at the bottom. Is there some other setting i am missing?

Thunderbird updated to ver 102.2.2 and now the background is black and text white. Under Settings, background is set to white and text black. Two other PCs updated and this issue did not occur

I was wondering if there was a way to move the ENTIRE messages column to the left side of the screen next to/in front of the Folders menu. I tried looking it up online but have not found a way to do this and was unable to find something that looked like what I was looking for on the FAQs.

When I type (c) in Thunderbird it autmotically changes to the copyright symbol. Also, when I type the number 100 Thunderbird changes it to a red symbol. How can I stop this from happening?

Hi Thunderbird; I am a financial contributor to your great e-mail program. One irksome issue I would like to see resolved to have a pop up asking"are you sure you want to do this" when moving e-mail subfolders two and more tiers down from one subfolder to another. I have over 100 e-mail subfolders in our company e-mail program and many more beneath those. Many times I will drag and drop e-mails directly from my inbox screen into subfolders in the left pane.(rather than using the "move" command) Occasionally I do not keep pressure on my left mouse button to do this. (I know , my fault). Instead of moving the specific e-mail(s), I now inadvertantly pick up a subfolder and drop it in a different folder, not realizing I have done this. When I finally realize the errant folder is not where it supposed to be( sometimes a day or two later), I spend a fair amount of time tracking it down and moving it back to it's original position.

Having a pop up message asking me if I really want to do this would be helpful and I'm sure would be appreciated by others who have 'lost' folders in a similar fashion.

Hi,

I use many(!) different profiles. I would like my signature to be identical for all profiles except for the email address. Is there a way to do that?

Right now, if I want to change the content of my signature, I have to do it for all my profiles and that gets tedious when testing stuff out.

This is what it would look like:

My name What I do My email (this changes based on the profile)

I got a new PC and set my accounts up but forgot to transfer over my address book, so I did that yesterday. When I went to the Local Folders (now called little blue filing cabinet) a whole bunch of folders had appeared that weren't there before. Most of them allowed me to delete them, but after closing Thunderbird and going back in, all the files again appeared. Does anyone have an idea how I can make them go away?! Any advice would be gratefully received. Lesley
