There are two copies of Thunderbird on my laptop. Win 11. A newer copy appeared but does not have my old emails that I have saved. How do I safely get rid of it and keep all emails? Thank you.

Migrated my data from old MacBook to new MacBook, and got a message of a damaged Thunderbird app. Deleted the app. Thus, I cannot retrieve personal data on my old Mac. I do have a gmail account, but my preference always has ben to use Thunderbird. How do I proceed?

I am running T-bird 45.8 in order to use Reminderfox on win10-22H2, It's not a perfect solution -- a bit clunky. I have read that T-bird now has a good calendaring system and would like to try it out, but do not want to mess with the current install, in order to be able to revert easily. What's the best way to go about that? (FWIW, I do not need to hear about how it's such an awful security mess, and all that. I am aware.) --whawn

I got notifications that I needed to update my email. I tried to follow the directions but after it was uninstalled, nothing else happened and now it's gone and I have nothing. I do not know what to do and am panicked because it's the only way I have to contact many people and it's really important to me.

I have an old iMac running macOS High Sierra. After a power surge last night, I have been unable to access any mail accounts. Apparently this is because my iMac cannot use two-factor authorization. The recommended fix is to use Mozilla Thunderbird. I downloaded this, but when I double-click the .dmg file, I get a corrupt image message. I am wondering if this is because I have a 32-bit machine.

Please let me know if it is safe to remove the older version of Thunderbird in the Installed Apps list. I also question whether the size of the app in the list is accurate; 250 GB seems quite enormous in a 500 GB hard drive. Thanks, Hans

due to a computer malfuction i tried to install thunderbird on a new computer a user name and password is required,followed the procedure but no instructions arrived at [redacted]@hotmail.com your advice will be appreciated thks
