How to create an email flyer that will dynamically resize the images to match whatever size the email is viewed at?

I'm not sure the terms needed to research what i'm wanting to do. Dynamic resize image in email is what i'd like to learn how to make using thunderbird tables but i think HTML has to also be used to do this correctly.

example: the original email (left image) the dimensions are set to 600 x 1350px even though the original image size is 1080x1350, the image is not stretched. when attempting to recreate the format the image is stretched and does not display correctly. the image is displayed at it's full 18080 x 1350px res or if Dimensions custom size is used the image will stretch.

sending emails

Over night I can suddenly no longer send emails from any of my 3 accounts. Can receive on all three. Error simply says email cannot be sent. HELP

I have Cox as my email provider. Recently, say last two months, when a message is moved into the Cox SPAM folder, it is not showing up in the Thunderbird SPAM folder.

What has changed in the Thunderbird software to not allow the messages to appear in the SPAM folder?

Recently, I'm finding that I'm writing an email and when I come to send it, I see that a part of it has already been sent to the recipients.

In other words, they are receiving my half-written message which can appear very rude because I haven't finished it and haven't signed off properly.

What am I doing wrong?

I have restored the profile from a harddrive backup to the appropriate roaming directory. I am not sure which version of Thunderbird I was using previously, I do know it was newer than 68.

I am currently installed version 78, because I am guessing that it has been updated since the version 68 install file I had saved previously. Since I got an error message when I tried that version indicating the profile was modified by a newer version.

With the new version, I deleted and recopied the profile again to ensure no corruption from version 68. Then I tried using the profile manager to load the old version directly. That didn't work.

I tried creating a new profile and pointing to the profile directory. That doesn't work either.

What I am expecting is that when I open thunderbird with the saved profile it will load the email that I had previously and I will not have to reconfigure my email credentials. Yet every time I try to load the profile it requests that I set up the email credentials and it doesn't appear to have loaded any of the old emails. I literally have over a gig of data in the Mail folder of the profile.

How do I restore this?

I just installed Thunderbird for MAC. The problem I am having is that there is no space between individual headers in the email folders so all the entries are squished together making the emails very difficult to read. How do I change this in the settings? I noticed that this problem doesn't exist when I installed Thunderbird for Windows. That each entry has a space between them Thanks, Paul

Yesterday I upgraded TB to v91.1.1 and since the upgrade I have been unable to send HMTL formatted emails via Thunderbird (can still send plain text). The diagnostic code from the sending server is:

Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 Maximum line length exceeded (see RFC 5322 2.1.1).

I haven't had any issues with TB previous versions (have been using TB for about 30 years) and it is the first time I have struck the error after an update to TB.

I have uninstalled TB and reinstalled the latest version - this made no difference.

Does anyone know if this is a bug with the current version where it is creating extra long line lengths in the send code?

Hi every one! I want implement Thunderbird app for my MacOS end users, but i can't find date with end of support for version 78.*. For now plugins to import/export mbox are avalaible only for 78.* well Thunderbird 91.* is out of game now to me for this reason.

I have sever accounts in Thunderbird. After a period in hospital I then updated to the latest version of thunderbird 91.0.3. In this version all but 2 of my imap accounts worked as expected. For these 2 accounts held on a server at easily.uk thunderbird failed to connect to the server. I have tried deleting the accounts and adding them again, but the add account wizard failed to find a to find settings that worked for imap or pop3 conection. Any ideas

I think this Email client works great (Better then Outlook)

But a few issues

When i compose an email from new - Signature shows When i reply or forward an email - Signature Doesn't Show :( Both Boxes ticked in settings

Also when i set the font to Ariel and size 12 that doesn't save and work either

Any ideas

I've reset the Program a few times

I have Thunderbird on my desktop and laptop, using version 78.14.0 (32 bit). Yesterday my desktop was auto updated to version 91.1.1 (32 bit) but my laptop did not update; it has always updated in the past. I clicked "tools" and "options", then "check for updates" - still nothing. Does Thunderbird auto-update all its clients simultaneously? Should I wait or download the latest version manually?

As shown in the attached screen dump, it seems that there are NO filters, especially "by date", for this page. There is a "Filter by PRODUCT" in the right column, but these 1,038 hits are ALREADY filtered by "Thunderbird".

I just wanted to point out to several of the posters that the universal selection for "Open mail in new window", which USED to be in "Tools> ...", is now (I'm just now changing to Thunderbird 78.???) in the "Display the Thunderbird Menu" tool which is the icon with 3 horizontal bars at the far right end of the "Mail Toolbar". Somebody might graciously put that information in the FAQ section as it is VERY difficult to find this RECENT situation in all of the OLD stuff in the support forum.

While I was in Thunderbird this morning viewing my emails, all of a sudden my older emails were no longer there. They just disappeared. It looks like the only ones I can see are the ones still on the bellsouth server. Please help! Thank you!

Hello,

I have my company ID through Google Workspaces, when I go to set up my id and enter my user name and password it gives the message "Configuration found in Mozilla ISP Database" and when I click DONE, it takes me to the Google sign in page where my id is already mentioned but when I click next it does not go to the page where it would ask for the password but rather reverts back to the login id page and it keeps doing this, I have tried multiple time and also uninstalling and reinstalling the database but it does not help.
