I am receiving 100's of spam emails. They are all advertising different types of products but they all say they are from AT&T High Speed Internet. I have used the junk filter on them but it does not pick them up as junk. I have to do it manually each time. I have contacted my UVerse provider and they cannot assist because it is getting through Yahoo to Thunderbird. They say that it is a problem that I will have to have assistance from Thunderbird to resolve so that I can have this listed as junk and will not have to do this manually. I am at my wit's end. Please, please help me!

Because my inbox has bee compacted Norton deletes my entire inbox when an infected message is found. You recommend files be compacted for various reasons. How can I remove the compaction of a my inbox and other files, or should I never compact a file?

Recently purchased a 4g type android phone. I have a connection. When I put in my email address and my password for google it will not allow me to sign in.

I have an account with an on line stock trading company. My computer won't allow me to access my tax form for last year. The company is saying my pop up blocker is keeping me from getting this form. Can you tell me how to allow pop ups from them specifically?

I switched my domain from long term USA hosting, to 1and1 in UK and now have a problem with my Mozilla Thunderbird email client.

I set up my email addresses only with no web page file uploads. I decided 1and1 were not for me, so I cancelled my account the following day and removed all of my email addresses from the hosting account. Since then, emails continued to arrive from 1and1.

Initially four emails IN folders were somehow created, which I deleted and have not reappeared. However the emails folders (?) which were in my account have returned and continue to do so almost immediately after I delete them as follows... No uploads and/or copy/paste?

I have contacted 1and1 a number of times to ask them to clear my hosting account completely including all my files. They have assured me that my domain has been cleared completely and I assume they have done so. My ISP account is clear too.

It is a mystery to me and I am somewhat concerned that a spammer or hacker has installed malware or similar on my PC. I have checked with my Panda anti-virus, Malware Bytes and AdWcleaner.

Could you please advise.

I received an e-mail from my webmail server saying that my password with Thunderbird is not secure. So I went to the settings and saw that it indeed wasn't. I changed the settings and suddenly was not receiving any e-mail. So I called my server and they said to change the settings to use an encrypted password because that's what they support. They are a POP3 server. However, when that option was put in, your message popped up that said the POP3 server does not seem to support encrypted passwords. It does! So why will Thunderbird not work when I put in that option? I don't want to have insecure e-mail.

I've been using Thunderbird for almost a year with no problems. Today, I get the message that I'm using the wrong ID or password. I went to the email provider and it was not working with online mail either. I changed the password and it is working for online email but not on Thunderbird or on my iPhone.

I receive a lot of new enquiries through to my email from website so I am replying to people who are not in my address book. 90% of the emails I send are going into Junk Folders and therefore a lot of people are not receiving them. How do I stop this? Thanks, Jenny

My account at americangreetings.com shows my previous email address (dianegrover@adelphia.net) automatically. I am unable to get rid of it and change to my new email address (2dianegrover@gmail.com). Their help person said I may need to delete my browser's cache and cookies. I need help doing this. Thank you.

I have been getting messages saying that my connection was refused by the smtp server. The help screens said to delete the smtp server password and I now cannot find an option to replace it

Hello, I can't receive or/and write e-mails because it ask me a password for each username and I don't remember them. I don't know how search these passwords or change them. Please, help me ! Thank. I have had two serious email program breaches on one of the computers in my house that has multiple users. In both cases neither my Norton AV or malware programs picked up the offending email. In one case an email was accidentally opened that should have been deleted. I want to block any incoming email to that particular computer that does not match a previous accepted sender, an address already in that computer's address book.

We have only one computer in the house. I have set up a Tbird account. My children also want to do emailing, but I would prefer that they cannot read my emails. Is it possible? PC with Windows 8.1
