j'ai ajouté à thunderbird mon compte de messagerie infomaniak . l'intégration s'est faite correctement, mais je ne peux pas envoyer de mail à partir de thunderbird infomaniak sauf si je remplace le serveur sortant mail.infomaniak.com par smtp.gmail.com. quelqu'un sait ce qu'il se passe?

New computer, trying to install Thunderbird. "Download" created a file called Unconfirmed 750544.crdownload which isn't executable and doesn't seem to do anything. How do I proceed to do an installation?

I am having trouble sending in email, i have gmail server (i am getting a time out error) i have the latest version of thunderbird i am receiving message ok, just cant send

Thunderbird has been working OK. Now, despite PC restarts and so on I get the message "mail couldn't be sent, time out error for SMTP server. I have tried changing the SMTP settings from port 465 to port 587 but no difference. If I log in to my email provider (vodafon/uniymail) I can send mails no problem. The problem is with thunderbird not sending smtp. Tried turning firewall and antivirus off, no help. Internet connection is glassfibre, internet works OK.

Not sure how it happened but I've suddenly lost access to my Google calendar. On the bar on the left side of my calendar display screen there is a list of two calendars, Home and my email address, which I think is a Google calendar. Even though I check "Show all calendars" it does not show my email address calendar. And if I click on only to show my email address calendar it shows nothing at all. On my Pixel cell phone I can still see both the Home calendar and the Google calendar, so I guessing Thunderbird has just lost the link, although it shows a googleapi address when I click on properties. When I accept a Zoom calendar listing it has always and still shows up on the Home calendar. This seems most mysterious. Anyone have an idea of what I should do? Is there anyway I can rebuild the link to the Google calendar?

I am trying to install Thunderbird into a new computer with Windows 11. When I try to run, it goes to a configuration page but will not connect after finding my account. I have double-checked password, but it says "Unable to log in at server . . . ".

I have uninstalled and reinstalled new program, but get the same response each time. I want to install Thunderbird (and Firefox) and copy my profiles from my old computer to the new one. I am not able to do either. I have followed the online instructions for moving/migrating both, but neither work. Any suggestions?

Every time I open the new version the following comes up in a window. By agreeing, you’ll allow Thunderbird Mail to access: Yahoo Contacts read and write Yahoo Calendar read and write Yahoo Mail read and write

The Yahoo Contacts and Yahoo Mail I can understand, But, I don't want a Yahoo Calendar. Is it somehow possible to allow Contacts and Mail, but exclude Calendar?

I upgraded from windows 10 to 11 My son was able to recover my e-mail folders, but some large folders are missing and the remainder only have e-mails from 2019 or earlier. How do I recover those e-mails? I am no longer conversant with the current technology or terminology. I need simplistic instructions.

Since the latest update a Yahoo Mail sign-in keeps popping up...sometimes two different versions. It's driving me nuts. Should I uninstall/reinstall Thunderbird. It's so frequent for no apparent reason that I may have to give up Thunderbird and many, many years of use...and donations. thx, deanna

As stated above, received msg from me to me -- a common practice I hear. If I change my password, will that fix this? I tried to log in to Outlook on line to change password but I use a passkey - doesn't let me do a password entry. Help..... Thanks.

At one time before several updates ago, all messages in my inbox were separate. After a previous update, reply or messages with the same header started be be nested, each one showing only the sender and the subject, which is now the same. I am forced to read through them all to find the one I want. Deleting any in the change can be hazardous.

How to go back the old way of message display?

Migrating from Gmail to ThunderBird- Do I have/where to get ThunderBird email address if I want to "escape" Google? Also a tad confused as to how Firefox/Mozilla/Thunderbird relate to one another!

When I send an email from my account dezandcathy@optusnet.com.au, I receive a message "Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (sent mail) due to network or file access errors. You can retry or save the message locally to local folders/sent mail-dezandcathy@optusnet.com.au" This problem has only occurred within the past week. For some of my sent emails, I have retried sending the message and it has appeared in my sent email folder, but not for all the emails I have retried. Checking with the recipients, they confirm receipt of my emails even though they are not shown in my sent email file. Can you suggest a solution? Thank you Derek Maule

I have found in the settings where it looks like I can increase the font size to better see and read my emails, but it does not affect what I have.

How to increase font size to make reading easier?

My old Arch Linux system with Thunderbird 145.0-1-x86_64 died. My RasPi and my new Pop-OS Meerkat both get 140.7.1esr (aarch64), and say they can't import my backups. I could see the RasPi ARM system getting a different Thunderbird, but the Meerkat is clearly an Intel processor. Why does it get the same version as the ARM based Pi? How can I recover my years of mail history? Both new installations say they are incompatible!

When in e-mail I get a message concerning not being able to connect I MAP settings as there are too many or something like that. (Message disapears quickly). It indicating that I should use advanced I MAP settings - all of which is way beyong my primative knowledge. Anyone throw any light on this regarding what and how to do or who to contact Thank you .
