I've gone into "sort-by" and tried enabling threading. I've tried checking the unthreaded box. Group job related email still just disappears. I can't find received group email in the trash or in the junk. I can't find any evidence in Thunderbird that the group email was received. If I go to a different email tool, there it is. Thunderbird is broken. If I scroll back in time and accidentally scroll past the date of the first group email, there it is. I can't be spending all day scrolling through months to years worth of email just to find out I got a group email from someone today. This is totally unreliable way to find an urgent work email.

My email is on a gmail server. I've been using POP for a long time. My inbox in gmail has 160,000 emails. They go back to 2005. In Thunderbird I have moved emails from inbox to to various local folders. Right now I only have from 1/1/2022 forward in the Thunderbird inbox.

Let me know of any way of migrating to IMAP

I recently migrated my hosting and I deleted the accounts on my Thunderbird client to set the new ones with the correct new Hosting.

The accounts are working correctly, but everytime I open Thunderbird, it shows me a login request from the old hosting service (which by the way, there is nothing there anymore, i deleted all the accounts and data).

I already uninstalled and reinstalled mozilla and tried to "fresh start" again, but this problem doesn't seem to go away.

Help is much appreciated!

When composing a new email and using the F9 key to list addressees in the defaulted address book, this list does not contain many addresses that are contained in the "All Address Books" (Toolbar icon). The "All Address Books" contains 37 address entries whereas the defaulted address book contains 24. I noticed that the missing addressees are more recent additions.

I have created two lists of email addresses to which I want to sent the same email. However I can't get the list into the address bar either To. CC or BCC. As there are some 20 addresses typing each address in the list, I had hoped that I would not have to type all of these again each time I send out an email. Any help would be most welcome.

Hi, I use thunderbird ver. 115.9.0 on Garuda Linux Gnome (Arch based distro). From some time I noticed I cannot copy in app. I cannot copy text from messeges or copy text from popup window with thunderbird version. I try to change theme but it don'y help.

I have previously (about 1 month ago) connected without issue to my Ionos email account. Today it will not connect. I have updated all the POP3/SMTP settings, read from the Ionos site. I have re-entered the current password too. My Gmail account downloads fine, it is just my Ionos account that will not load. I don't get an error but the last mail showing is in March (2024) and I have had hundreds since then.

I updated to 115.10.1 a few days ago and would like to roll back to what I had before.

Is there a way to do that?

And is there a file that has the version number in it? I would like to look in a system backup to find out the version number that I had last week.

Hola my support. Wenn I want to write a email, so klick on : file, new, messages, than nothing happens, the window is not actief, see the fotos. I do not know now what to do. I do get emails. Un saludo. Rene.

When receiving emails they appear as normal but in the background is another email of a couple of pages which has sender and receiver details at the top then lines of letters making no sense for the rest of the message.

I have set up my own domain guytec.org using Namecheap. The alias for email is tguy. I have pointed this new email to my gmail address. I can receive emails into my thunderbird Gmail box from tguy@guytec.org. I want to write emails with sent from tguy@guytec.org showing? How??

I removed an account (membershipsec.KLcommunitychoir@gmail.com) from Thunderbird but I am still being asked to validate my ID for that account every time I look at my email. It's a Google page that is displayed but it seems to be Thunderbird that is triggering it. How do I stop it?

when opening Thunderbird it may show on the bottom left of the page that there are a number of messages to download. It will show how many messages are supposedly being downloaded yet no messages are actually downloaded?
