Message filters dialog box

Using Thunderbird v. 102.3.1, MAC OS X 12.6 The message filters dialog box no longer has an OK button. It's pushed below the bottom edge of the dialog box.

Thunderbird has just upgraded. I've eventually got my emails back but now find I have this problem. This question has already been asked but is in archive now and the answer to it was to go to Account Settings and then Composition and Addressing and click on 'Automatically quote original message when replying' but that is already clicked, so I'm stumped. Any ideas anyone?

Today Thunderbird auto updated to 102.2.0 (32-bit) on Win7 64bit, have been using Thunderbird for many years.

When you search in the email for something theresults are show as usual and you might have 100 hits Then normal if you click the "Show result as list" you will have a list with..... 100 item where it's fast to pick the one you need.

After today update the "Show results as list" are empty except if the a mail in from today.

Is this kind of a new settings I will need to tweek to see all the results as list or is it a bug?

Thunderbird can't update to the latest version. Download a fresh copy of Thunderbird and we’ll help you to install it.

I'm getting this message once a day. This started sometime after the update to version 102, and I've had to download / upgrade for the last couple of minor updates. Any assistance would be welcome so automatic updates would start again. These messages pop up even when there is no new release available and I'm at the current release.

Personal PC specs include: OS Name & Version Microsoft Windows 11 Home 10.0.22000 Build 22000

I do use AVG Internet Security as well as NordVPN.

Screenshots are from a release back to show that I was on the current release (my Thunderbird settings are on automatic update) yet was being prompted to get a new release.

Thunderbird 102.3.0, latest, continues to pop up messages stating it is unable to download an update and requesting the user to download and manually update. The only response is "Not now" since this is already the latest version. Reinstalled twice to make sure but reminder keeps popping up.

Ich habe mein Thunderbird auf 102.3.1 upgedatet. Nun funktioniert die Autovervollständigung bei der Adressierung einer E-Mail nicht mehr. Er sucht nicht in den (nun neuen) Kontakten. Nur noch bei "gesendeten E-Mails" warum auch immer. Die Kontakte im Adressbuch stimmen und die Einstellung/Verfasssen/Adressieren stimmen mit "lokales Adressbuch" auch. Danke und Gruß

Ok, this is a different setup. I have thunderbird running on a laptop with the data file in dropbox. This way if the laptop goes bad I can load into another easily. But where my question is can I run two different computers on the same data file. The only reason would be for the offline/downloaded emails I have. If there is a way to just sync the offline/downloaded across the two that would work as well. Thanks

I've been 'talking' with a guy for months abut shipping one of my high end gazebo kits to Egypt. I'm getting the feeling though that he's maybe trying to scam me.

He's been emailing me from Texas but says he's now in Australia for a week. Is there any way you can see, by looking at the Header / whatever, if this latest email from him came from Australia? If it didn't I'll know for sure it's a scam.

I'm using Thunderbrid on Linux (currently 102.3.1, latest as of today), but I can no longer connect to my Gmail account. Trying a different mailclient (e.g. Evolution) I can successfully connect, read and send mails, but no longer with Thunderbird :/ The problem first occurred yesterday, using 102.3.0 - there I've deleted the gmail account withing Thunderbird and tried to reconnect ... without success. Trying to set up the account, I don't use "two factor authorisation". I use the correct server settings (IMAP, 993, SSL/TSL, oAuth2 as well as SMTP, 465, SSL/TSL, oAuth2), I get the Web-Window asking for access to my account, I login with my password, but after granting access for Thunderbird, I immediately receive the error "Authentication failed connecting to server imap.gmail.com". I've tried a lot, really a lot, also treid 2FA and App-Password, but I can't succeed in getting gmail back in Thunderbird!

Please, could anyone give me an advice!? Best Regards Jörg

Since the last update, Thunderbird has been sending a duplicate draft copy to my inbox of any email I'm writing, every time a draft is automatically saved. It is also saving it as normal to the drafts folder, but sending a copy to my inbox is very confusing as I don't know whether it has been sent to the recipient in error.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Was this an intentional update, or is it a bug? I hope it's a bug that is being looked into, as it is not welcome!

I am scripting the creation of e-mails using the command line

-compose ...

and now trying to incorporate embedding certain images. I created a routine to encode the images in base64 and build the proper HTML img tag to include in the 'body' argument.

It works flawlessly for png and jpg images, but bombs for bmp, tiff, gif, ... and am trying to understand why. Is this a limitation of the command line? Is there something I've missed in the documentation somewhere?

I've validated with online source that the output HTML is accurate. I've even saved the output as an HTML file and it renders just fine in any web browser, it is just the 'thunderbird -compose -body ...' that can't seem to handle it.

I am running the latest version of Thunderbird (installed a fresh copy today).

If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear it.

retrieving messages does not work - after update to the newest version and restart. I read all the hints on the help pages. My provider is GMX. The browser based program works well. Normally I can see at the bottom of the page that Thunderbird tries to download messages, then I see them listed. Now: nothing, no move.

I have been using TB for years. Following a new W11 computer I recently downgraded to TB103. To my dismay I find that after a clean install it has started threading my emails. I REALLY do not want this feature. I have spent too many hours reading about View etc etc, none of the answers I have read so far have worked, and I am getting more than a little frustrated. So is this fixable, or does anyone know of a similar email client please?

After Thunderbird Update, couldn't send emails out. After trying a few different things, have lost all my archive folders and sent emails. Everything is still there on webmail, but not in Thunderbird. How can I retrieve all old folders and sent emails back? Inbox emails appear to all be there.

Can now send emails now which are being saved, so now there are maybe 6 new emails in the sent folder and everything older is not showing.
