overnight the Sent boxes for my 2 mail addresses disappeared. one is POP ,other is IMAP & have worked Ok for 11 years. have looked at archived support advice for this problem. checked the subscribe list for the IMAP & all boxes, including Sent are ticked, but understand you can't use this check with POP. has anyone else got / solved this problem?

Hello, I am a long time user and recently hit the 100% Quota Level so I can no longer receive emails. I have deleted thousands of emails but it still says 100%. I have deleted as many emails as possible at this point, but email is very important and I need to receive emails!

  • Can I download the emails to my HDD?
  • If I convert from IMAP to POP will that remove the limitations and will I lose the emails stored
  on the Server?
  • How can I reset the Level?
  • How will I receive your answer if I am locked out?

Desde la nueva actualización 102.1.2, algunos correos enviados dan el siguiente error: El cliente de correo envió este mensaje con avances de línea vacíos, que no pueden enviarse a través del comando DATA del protocolo SMTP. Además, el sistema receptor no admite BDAT.

Esto antes no pasaba. Trabajo con varias cuentas de envío y solo me pasa con HOTMAIL. Espero que lo solucionen pronto en la próxima actualización.

Desde la web outlook.live no da error.

We are using Microsoft Office365 web mail and configured with Thunderbird . Incoming setting are configured in IMAP.

Recent days Microsoft stopped support of basic security. I dont think there is any connection between this and that. From that moment in our thunderbird it is asking for password continously and unable to work. Pls guide us to resolve this issue.

Hi All, I have been using Thunderbird for last 12 years and I never had issues in restoring Thunderbird PROFILE before. Today, after I reset my Windows, restoration seems not to work. I have followed all steps provided on Mozilla site and spent half day trying to figure out the problem. However, not one solution work for me. If anyone can assist, it will be helpful as I have many important data archived in that email.

To delete multiple messages from Thunderbird mail, select the small box symbol to the right of "Total" on the "Subject" line of the mailbox for any folder. Click on the "Select Messages" entry at the top of the list of options. That will add the selection boxes to the left of all messages in the folder as well as a box at the top of these boxes to select all boxes. Then you can delete, move, and take other available actions for the checked messages---just like with other mail clients.

(Please post this help note to the archived question that is answered above since the archived answer does not address the best use of Thunderbird Mail's capabilities.)

Hotmail/Outlook accounts are not working with Thunderbird!! I haven't been able to send emails from my hotmail account. I could receive but not send. I then deleted it off thunderbird to then reinstall to try fix the issue but that didn't work. I am putting all the correct server details in and the correct password but it isn't working. It just says checking password until it times out. My AV and windows defender are off, ports are forwarded, it's nothing to do with my network. There's something between thunderbird and microsoft that doesn't work. When I had the account in my thunderbird, it came up with an authenticate smtp issue error code.

I'm on Windows 10 and the latest version of TB. Thanks

Running latest version of Thunderbird. Have 2 email accounts. Open Thunderbird and the secondary one receives, sends all emails and all folders are listed and can be viewed. However, about 2 days ago, the main email account can display all folders and everything can be read. However, the INBOX folder says there are 26 messages, but none can be viewed. When clicking Get Messages, this error message pops up: The current operation in "inbox" did not succeed. The mail server for account xxxxxxxx.net responded: UID FETCH failed. After reaching out for help, I have done the following, but nothing works: Tried Repair Folder, deleted all .msf files, restarted Tbird many, many times including rebooting computer. My current settings are: Thunderbird Version 102.1.2 (64 bit). Previous versions 91.12.0 & 91.2.1 IP Address: 69.127.143.28. Using System Proxy Settings, SMTP Server Port 465, IMAP Mail Server Port 993, SS/TLS, Normal Password. This is Windows 10 Desktop unit. The last thing I wanted to do was uninstall Thunderbird and then reinstall, as I am getting mixed messages regarding losing all previous emails, calendar settings, etc. Any reasonable help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been using Thunderbird since the first version was released. With the very latest update to 102.1.2, it stopped working with my Earthlink POP account. I get this error when trying to download new mail:

"the server does not support the selected authentication method"

Nothing has changed with my Earthlink settings. The problem started right after the latest patch was applied last week. In fact, I have a second computer with Thunderbird 102 that has not installed the latest patch yet, and Earthlink POP still works it.
