Mozzilla fonctionne mais je ne peux plus faire "envoyer" mes mails. C'est terrible d'autant que n'y comprends rien . Je rédige-sur la page "Rédaction" et après il n'y a plus de case "Envoyer." par contre je reçois les mails J'ai glané les infos au bout de 2 jours  : IMAP Je sui "Orange" Sortant SMTP/SSL/TLS port 459 Entrant SMTP/SSL/TLS port 995 et quelque part  : version 140.II.Iesr  ? Vous pensez que c'est grave ? ça fait 10 ans que ça fonctionnait

I have all my past emails in specific folders within Windows Mail currently. I have three email accounts. I want to set up Thunderbird and import all the folders of emails into it and access all three accounts from within Thunderbird. I have a Master computer running windows, a tablet and a phone. I would like each device to be able to access all the email accounts and the stored folder tree within Thunderbird. I would like the Master computer to be set up with POP3 for all accounts so I can archive those I need to keep. I would like the tablet and the phone to be able to see and interact with the emails via imap so that when the Master is opened it downloads everything for processing. Do I need to set up each device separately with accounts being either imap or pop3 accordingly? will they all sync together? Thanks for your input.

Firefox on this Windows 10 computer stopped providing an email Send option about 2 weeks ago. I still receive all messages fine, but must use Firefox on an older windows 7 computer to send emails. What can I do? Other internet receive and send functions are still working. The problem is only with email.

Every time I send a message, it duplicates itself. Any help in removing this problem in the settings will be appreciated. Please keep in mind I'm not that savvy with settings so if you can keep this simple like me, that would be great. I'm using version 151.0 64-bit on Windows 10. Hopefully someone be able to help me resolve this problem.

Ich habe die Anwendung auch schon komplett deinstalliert und wieder aufgespielt. Hat sich leider nicht geändert.

Was kann ich noch machen?

I am no longer getting emails on Thunderbird on my computer though I do get them e.g. on my iPad, and I can email out. Is that a problem with Thunderbird or with Bell my service provider?

Later this week I'll need to copy a bunch of old emails to someone (some of them received by me and some sent by me). Does Thunderbird have such a feature or is the easiest way to print them on paper and resort to snail mail?

Hello! All the messages in the sent folder have been lost. When I use webmail, all the messages appear normally. I sent a test message from Thunderbird 151.0 (64-bit) / Windows 10 (64-bit) and the message does not appear anywhere in Thunderbird, but I can see it in "webmail". I added the same email account to TB on another PC and I have the same problem. I have deleted this specific email account from TB and reinstalled it, but the problem persists. In Outlook (iPad and PC) it works normally. Other email addresses of the same domain work normally everywhere. The email server provider cannot help me and claims that there is a technical problem on my side. Is there anyone who has any idea on how to solve this particular problem? Thank you.

Ever since the latest update, when I hit send for an email. It says it cannot send, I cancel, hit send again and it goes through. I have to try sending EVERY email twice.

I'm using Thunderbird 149.02 to make a local copy of all folders, messages and attachments on my yahoo mail account. I don't yet see an obvious way to issue a command to Thunderbird to accomplish this.

I'm using export.imap.mail.yahoo.com as the IMAP server as some of the folders have >10000 messages (none have >100000 messages, and there is no significant real-time email arriving to the account while I do this procedure.)

In settings/offline settings I have "automatically follow detected online state" and "download messages for offline use when going offline [yes].

In account settings/synchronization & storage I have Disk space: Synchronize all messages locally regardless of age"; "to recover disk space, old messages can be permanently deleted..." I have "Don't delete any messages" and "Always keep starred messages"

With these settings, I've tried (from the main menu) File -> Offline > Download/Sync now, then "Download and/or sync..." I have selected Mail Messages, and the Select button takes me to a table where I have selected the main account folder and all sub-folders.

With these settings, Thunderbird appears to go through some of the folders and downloads messages from, them, and after a while says there are no new messages (I don't have the specific text, but it ceases interacting with the server". If I repeat the Download/Sync now procedure, it appears to download more messages, will continue for a while, then stop in the same way.

When I compare the size of Thunderbird's local account folder, it appears to grow after each of these iterations, but is (after half dozen cycles through this) has only reached about 2/3 of the total stoage size reported by Yahoo. While I understand the storage mechanisms would differ significantly between yahoo and Thunderbird, I don't believe I've found a single sure-fire way to accomplish what I set out to do in the first place (which is get a complete copy, through IMAP, of all emails, folders and attachments.

What am I missing?

For some reason since reinstalling my Thunderbird every time I try to sen e-mail I get the error "Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: <SantoshS1@vbeyond.com>: Recipient address rejected: Access denied. Please check the message recipient "SantoshS1@vbeyond.com" and try again.

They are perfectly valid addresses, as they are generated using Reply. This did not happen before I was forced to reinstall from scratch. I suspect it may be some sort of issue with my account configuration in Thunderbird, as I had to recreate that.

I can receive outlook e-mail but I cannot send from Thunderbird. I am asked for a password for the specific Microsoft server. I enter my Microsoft account password but this does not work. Security setting is STARTTLS withNormal Password authentification. My other Thunderbird non-MS e-mails are problem free.

The message was composed using a translator I have 3 mail for work. 1 personal, 2 shared There are no problems with my personal email. I can't send messages from two other emails, and I get an error

Error translation "Error sending message. Error sending mail. Mail server responded: Error: send AUTH command first. 1777978756-Gxds2c0SZiE0-r8k7j8Ju. Make sure the email address you specified in your account settings is correct and try again."

I can receive emails fine. But when I attempt to forward an email TB tries using the wrong SMTP server, and an email address that no longer exists in any email account. For example, the email is in a yahoo account and TB tries using a gmail server. I have email accounts (in TB) with gmail, yahoo, rocketmail, AOl, and verizon.net. I have verified ALL server settings for each account as correct. I first experienced this in ver. 140.8.1esr(64-bit), and updating to 140.10.1esr (64-bit) did not resolve the issue.

How do I view the messages referenced by the dialogue asking me "Do you want to send your unsent messages now?" This dialogue suddenly started to appear when I startup Thunderbird. The dialogue has two buttons: "Send Now" and "Later." Thanks

A few months ago I installed Thunderbird onto a new PC having previously used it on a previous PC (so I'm not a newbie).. However I'm seeing a persistent issue that I never saw before...

I've a regular contact whose name I won't specify but let's call him Roger Smith. What happens is that whenever I post something on a forum (such as this one) and somebody replies, the replies look as if they came from Roger Smith - even though he's got no connection with the actual forum.

It doesn't happen with every forum - for example it doesn't happen with this one - but it does affect most of them. Has anyone else ever reported this and is there anything I can do to correct it?

I have done this to have Tbird put email in the outbox... Click the Config Editor... button. Search for: mailnews.sendInBackground. Double-click the entry to set it to true.

It worked fine on Apr 19, but not today. The email goes to the outbox folder, but is then sent right away. What next? Thanks.

A "send later" button came up one morning instead of the usual "send" button. When I clicked on the write button to see where the "send" button was, several choices came up but when I clicked on the "write" choice I lost the other choices and now can't get back to the original write button and still no "send" button appears anywhere on the menu. I can save messages to Draft but still can't actually send them. I can still receive emails, just can't send them! Help!
