I have Thunderbird in different computers and in each of them there is a different whitelist of emails and sits for displaying remote content. I wish that my computers would share that list so to have the same behavior in all of them (i.e. versus keep entering emails and websites over and over again). I learned that the information is stored in the two sqlite files listed in the title, so I thought it would be a good idea to have them in a shared storage and create pointers in each computer (i.e., ln -s ...). However, I am afraid that this might break other things since I am not sure what else depends from those files. A plus of doing it is that one could save the whitelist and not have to enter manually for every new installation.
Reminders not working on TB(and Lightninng) 68.2.1
I have reminders enabled but none are showing up, and I have no Reminders dialog window. I am running TB (and Lightninng) 68.2.1 under Linux Mint 19.1 (MATE)

After upgrading to Mac OS 10.15.1 Thunderbird reported error that I cannot use the profile because it is in use. Default would work. After investigation removed .parentlock from ~/Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/ . Then error message changed to A Copy of Thunderbird is Already Open. Still can open default, but none of our other profiles. Any suggestions?

When installing 68,2 update I was asked to reboot which I did. Then once the computer was running again I attempted to open T'bird and once again asked to reboot which I did. I opened the computer again and the same thing. I attempted to uninstall T'bird and once again told that I needed to first reboot. I have now rebooted over half a dozen times and still can not open T'bird. What do I do next to make T'bird work?

TB is EXTREMELY slow when I move an email message from inbox or outbox to a local folder, and extremely slow when I am reading emails and jump from one email in the folder to another.
I have a lot of emails stored in local folders. I use POP mail and store all my email on my computer. I need to keep records of all email for work purposes. I don't know the total amount of email that TB is storing for me, but it is a record of all my work-related email for about the past 10 years.
Is it possible that the large volume of email that TB is holding is the cause of TB slowing down?
Every Sunday I review all emails that I sent and received in the preceding week, and file them away in local folders. (Basically, I clean up my inbox and outbox.) Each time I move an email from inbox/outbox to a local folder, I have to wait 15-30 seconds (spinning beach ball) before TB displays the next message in the inbox/outbox.
Any ideas for why TB has become so slow? And any suggestions for how to fix this?

First, it's much slower to open & start. Then it shows the Local Folders overview screen vs. going direct to my Inbox (takes often 5 seconds now, when it was instant before). The "Get All New Messages" has never worked (I think related to checking internet for calendar files), but now when I select to manually check mail on one of my two accounts, it often does not actually do that. Often that menu disappears. And in general, things are MUCH slower than they were on 60.9.0. I had to quit using Firefox browser due to the releases continually introducing too many "new" problems, please don't make this also the case with Thunderbird ! So, please let there be a way to go back to 60.9.0, otherwise I will be very annoyed at this software all day long, every day, and hoping the development team figures out their mistakes and has a new release to fix this one.

Thunderbird radomly stops downloading new emails until I restart it.
I have four email accounts on Thunderbird. All will download new emails at startup, but two of them will randomly stop downloading until I restart TB. Any ideas?

My OS = Linux Mint 19.2 Tina 64-bit, Kernel Linux 4.15.0-70-generic x86_64, MATE 1.22.0. Just updated my trusted Thunderbird of many years, to the latest version, via the Linux updates portal, and to my utter dismay the Wallnut 2 Complete Theme is no longer compatible! After searching in Thunderbird Complete Themes for a similar complete theme, there is absolutely nothing that is compatible/suitable for this last version of Thunderbird. The 3 basic default themes are either too hard on the eyes in brightness or too black. While I'm not seeking 50 shades of grey, a light, medium or dark range of 'Default Themes' would have been a more practical set of option, surely. Is there any way that I could tickle the 'Dragons' settings to either get a 'Battleship Grey' complete theme or is it just a case of waiting for a 'Mozillian Magician' to program an updated version of the beautiful Walnut 2 theme? BTW, Have A Very Joyful Festive Season to each and everyone of you.

Done this about 10 times. (Yes I don't have much of a life) Op Sys is Windows 10 Home, ver 1809, build 17763.864.

Quite recent at least beginning of 2019, I notice my thunderbird opens automatically email in multiple tabs. I did not request for it. Even when I scroll my mail folder, it randomly open the mail and put it in different tab. I hate it and I have to close all of them and if I leave my thunderbird on whole day and scroll for mail, I get more like 15+ tab of mail.
Whenever I close my thunderbird, I make sure I do not leave any mail open on a tab. I close everything.
Never happen in my life since I started using Thunderbird if I am not mistaken, late 90s.
Can I disable this function?
