When using Firefox mobile it used to ask "Complete action using" and then give a choice of Firefox or Google Play when I tried to open certain files. When one made the choice it would also give the choice of "just once" or "always". I accidentally opted for "always" the last time now it does it automatically whether I want to or not. I have tried to reset by clearing the apps defaults, by resetting all apps preferences from within android apps settings and by clearing Firefox's privacy settings. Still no joy, I have even reinstalled the Firefox app but even though I uninstalled first these settings seem to have been retained in android somewhere. Does anyone know how I can delete the file type associations so that I get the original choice again?

PDF in Firefox remains grayed out, because l cannot do a Firefox search. l cannot change the default search in apps because there all grayed out. l cannot change it in settings - search for Google Chrome and Firefox, because there is no Firefox appearing, even after in Firefox tip saying long press search line to add it. Cannot get box to come up either, to be able to change default search to Firefox by clicking always or once. My tablet is a Lenovo Yoga 8 Android jelly bean 4.2.2 OS. Please can someone help, l have been trying to figure this out for more than a week. l especially wanted to use the save to PDF function in Firefox. Please, please HELP!

got upgraded to ff android 31 and saw that tools menu item 'save as pdf' had disappeared. manually downgraded to vn 30 and option was there. Therefore I presume disappearance was related to version upgrade - however I see no mention of this specific issue in firefox buglist or elsewhere

In Firefox, I'm using an add-on: Flash Video Downloader - YouTube HD Download [4K] 8.4.0. When I tap into the file for downloading, it will not start downloading.

So I use various blocking add ons, which means when I come across a new website I need to whitelist various things, but every so often the add-on's menus are just not there. The add on is clearly doing its job, hence my need to whitelist some stuff, but my menu is not there and I have to restart Firefox and just hope that the menus will be restored. Its hit and miss too, which is kinda infuriating.
