Hi,

I have installed Firefox on my kids Android tablets and the tabs bar is missing and I am not able to turn it on. Without the tabs bar they cannot easily switch between tabs, they also don't immediately see what pages they have open - without clicking the tabs button. The tablets are 10" and running Android 10 and the latest Firefox.

I was surprised to discover that when I switch from a tab to another tab, the first tab is no longer active. That means that if I'm listening to a sound clip (web radio, youtube etc.) I'm not allowed to be surfing at the same time, or else the clip will stop playing and will resume only when I switch back to the original tab. This is very frustrating, and somewhat strange, too. Opera is the only browser that seems to offer this possibility. Is there a way to do that in the current Firefox version, and if not, could you see to it in the next ones?

Prior to the most recent mobile update my firefox tabs remained open in my browser until I restarted my phone or the browser crashed. Now when I go to open firefox after a few hours the tabs will all automatically close and I have to reload all my previous tabs which is getting very annoying. I cannot find a setting to change this. I have a Samsung Galaxy SIII and prior to this update had NO problems. Any help figuring out how to keep my tabs open would be appreciated.

Greetings,

This is my first time posting here, so I apologize if my posting format is incorrect in any way.

My issue is that ever since the update to FF for Android around the first of the year, my open tabs are no longer being saved. The only way to avoid that occurrence seems to be to switch between apps using task manager - however, if you have to return to the home screen for any reason, the tabs are wiped out when you return to Firefox.

(Just to let you know, I don't use Sync because it screws with my Xmarks account.) Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

When I want to Open Mozilla to use google which is my default search for the WWW I get Mozilla wanting me to Download something. I don't because I don't use Moble or Android. I get angry because I have to click it off and i have filled with the Tabs which i know nothing about and wish I didn't have any because i don't mind just using my Bookmarks and clicking them off when i have finished. Please tell me because this has only happened recently without my permission. Bette

How do I move my tabs to the right of my browser instead of the left? I am using a 10" Android tablet and can't find anything about it in the Q&A sections. In the video clips of the answer sections they all show the tabs on the right side of the browser. It would be a lot more convenient! Thx

why can't firefox automatically reopen tabs from last session, like pc version? although i get a selection on start up to open previous tiles, this doesn't work

four issues (android version only) 1- firefox will kill itself when tablet is put to sleep - not shut off - for a few hours, when that happens 2- previous tabs are closed when firefox is restarted, so you press 'open all tabs...' which doesn't really open all the previous tabs, but 3- opens tabs from the same url with identical pages. eg, if you are on mozilla website, and have one tab on one page, another tab on a different page, when you reopen later using 'open all tabs...' you get two tabs for mozilla, but both on the same page. and lastly, 4- when you reopen using 'open all tabs...' you lose your 'back' history. when you select 'back', you go to mozilla's start up page. very frustrqting.

i must say, i really like firefox, use it through out our office and home computers, so i have a fair amout of experience using firevfox. i just find this one issue frustrating, and cannot see the logic i n disabling the cho8ce of reopening all tabs from last session, like your windows browser.

Hi everyone,

I'm using Firefox 18 for Android and I'd like it to restore my previous browsing session on startup. I'm aware of the link on the default home page, but that is not very efficient (and is unusable when firefox is reopened from a link). I've tried setting browser.sessionstore.resume_session and browser.startup.page to no avail. I'd very much appreciate any help.

Thank you.
