Firefox for Android Support Forum

I've heard a lot of good things about Microsoft opening up their platforms for developers. I literally used Firefox, Firefox sync, and enjoy Firefox as my default browser. I've seen a few posts saying Mozilla isn't currently developing for Windows Phone and I'm just wondering why. I know there is a demand for it. It would dominate the Windows Phone market for sure. I'd really like to see it come to the platform so can someone explain why specifically it isn't? What restrictions are still being faced if any?

On my android phone, Firefox updated. Now under top sites, there is a section called "Recommended by Pocket". How do I take this off/disable it?

It is really bothering me a lot, I do not want to see this. I looked through the settings but couldn't find anything.

I clicked on link to a file in FF mobile for Android, popup appears with suggested applications to open links to files with such extension. I selected one app and clicked "remember selection". But later I realized that I select wrong application and tried to reset this association, but I can't find it anywhere. I even not sure is it a standard Android "extension-application" association or not. But I looked up application settings for FF and its association list is empty. So question is - where I can reset association between extension of file, opened by link from FF and some application?

Someone please point me in the direction to view saved password on my android phone.

i am not able to find the right documentation and wanted to view the sync file and cant find the file for the answer i am looking for.

I have an android phone and recentlyy I bought an android tablet. In both I have Firefox as my default browser. My problem is I couldn't managed to sync the browser data from my android phone to android tablet. My phone's firefox says that "In your other device, go to sync and click 'Pair a device'" But I can't find it in my tablet's sync menü. Both devices give me a code but in my tablet I don't know where to type that code.

In Firefox for my desktop (Linux Mint) I am able to enter in a person's name and tag them in a post or comment. For example, when I type in my wife's name it will tag her in the post/comment and alert her that I have mentioned her in a post/comment. I am also able to do this on Facebook's mobile site using Chrome for Android. Unfortunately this behavior doesn't happen in Firefox on my Android phone.

I thought it might be one of my add-ons (I am using Adblock Edge and Ghostery), but I uninstalled both of them and I am still experiencing the same behavior (or lack thereof).

Anyone know what might be causing this?

Will they now start to continue to support Windows Phone 8 because Windows Phone 8 now supports C++

How can i disable the 'top sites' cleaning history does not remove this and it is confusing and a risk to privacy. It also serves no purpose as sites i want to keep are bookmarked Is there an alternatively an addon for this

I have downloaded several types of audio files on my android, and they play rightaway, but they are not able to be found anywhere in the phone after I STOP the playback.

This happens with any file, how can I locate the file once downloaded, or how can I change settings to have the file to download to my SD Card instead?

I am very surprised that an excellent browser like Firefox is not available for download either at the App Store or on your website for IPAD & IPAD Mini. I have already installed on my Mac. Is this an over site or do you not plan for Firefox to become available to download on IPAD & IPAD Mini? Please let me know - Thank You.

We're doing some development for mobile apps for mobile devices using different browsers & wondered if you have a simulator/emulator, since you have Firefox for mobile device users? I'd be particularly interested in an emulator that runs on Windows O/S unit test environments.

1. How can I install Firefox for Android on my virtualbox, just for testing, it installs but doesnt run, it just says "FIrefox is not responding, it will now close".

1. Is there a virtualbox image or File to install Firefox OS onto a VM?

I just need these to help users on the fourms with these devices.

The "top sites" feature is a nice idea, but most of the time I don't use it.

So I was wondering if it's possible to disable or remove it.

If not, could a extension be created, to disable or remove it?
