Hi. For the past few months I have been unable to play any samples from the Audible website in Firefox on my android phone. When I click the word "Sample" Audible opens up a new tab with their Web player and I always get an error message that is just a rectangular box with an exclamation mark inside a triangle on the left side of the box. (Screenshot attached.) There are no words inside the box and the only option is to close the tab. Since there is no actual message I'm not sure what the problem is.

Playing samples used to work fine when you could play them within their web page before Audible changed its system. I seem to be able to play samples on Audible's Web player in Chrome, but would prefer to keep Firefox as my default browser. I have tried deleting all history, cookies and cache; closing and reopening Firefox; turning phone off and starting again after an hour. I've also tried enabling autoplay, but that made no difference. I was thinking that the issue may be with my other settings within Firefox, but I can't tell. Any help you can provide would be great. When I try to go to google on Firefox for android, the website doesn't load and instead all I get is a white, blank page. When I search using google in the address bar, the results show up. But then if I click the google icon to go to the google homepage, I get the blank white page again. What is going on? Also the desktop version of the site works, but the mobile version does not. It just stopped working this morning and nothing on my device had changed. I tried uninstalling firefox multiple times and still every time I redownload firefox, I get the same issue. I've been a longtime user of firefox user and the first time I have had a major issue like this.

I have checked both in every option in Settings and under my email address in the Firefox app on my android phone, there is no Sync and Save Data. I want to link my phone to my new laptop but it seems the tech gods wish to prevent me. Can anyone help?

as described, send tab function does not work one way (android to PC), but works fine from PC to android mobile phone/tablet. the pop-up error is the "Unable to send - RETRY", and pressing 'RETRY' doesn't do anything. I am logged in to the mozilla account on both android devices, and firefox sync/syncing tabs work fine. not sure what's the issue

Hi, my browser on my tablet keeps making all tabs stuck in desktop mode with no way to turn it off. It started happening today when it updated to the latest Firefox Android 133. The desktop mode toggle is set to off, and when I click it it still is set to off and it's still in Desktop mode. When I copy the URL to another tab I can turn desktop mode off, but that gets reset to on whenever the browser is killed in the background.

I've tried force closing the app and clearing cache, any help would be appreciated.

When playing YouTube videos in full screen using

Firefox: the gear button and the "restore screen size/exit full screen" button are nonfunctional (nothing happens when I tap on them).

Google Chrome browser: the gear icon button is nonfunctional.

DuckDuckGo browser: the gear icon button is non functional.

Opera browser: the gear icon button is non functional.

This problem started about a week and a half ago.

When I tapped on the firefox widget on my phone this morning, it showed "google.com" in the address bar but the page was blank. I checked this on my wife's phone and my tablet and the exact same thing happens. I tried turning off my two add blockers to see if that would make a difference but it did not. I then uninstalled and reinstalled firefox on my phone from the Google Store and logged back in and it still acted the same way. For fun, I then turned on "Desktop site" in the menu and then my normal google.com page opened up. When I turned off 'desktop site', it went back to a blank screen with the "home" icon, the address bar, number of tabs open box and the 3 dots menu bar showing on top, but nothing else. I then opened my computer and works fine on my desktop. So, not sure what is happening but definitely some problem with "google.com" address on firefox (unless I toggle on "desktop site".) I also cleared my cache (which of course, was completely empty when I deleted and then added on the firefox app at the google store). Seems like might be a problem on your end? Especially since seems to happen on all four android devices that I have. I've also attached screenshots of the two pages I get, the first regular, the second with 'desktop site' toggled on.

As you see the Mozilla is a fresh installed, no extensions installed too. First try - open google search page right from the shortcut that is installed by default on the start screen. Firefox just crash.

Few days ago I downloaded something, but canceled it from the notification. Now a notification with the headline "Downloads" and the file name below keeps popping up every half an hour or so, when Firfox is closed or in the background. I can't click on it and restart it.

I tried to open this streaming video from CBS News. It won't open on Firefox but it does play on Chrome. Both browsers are updated to the latest version. (Android)

I now have the problem that I am on a large payment page and switch back and forth between FF and another app (to copy payment-relevant data). Unfortunately, FF does a page refresh every time it is brought back to the foreground from the background. And all the data already entered is lost! This is a fairly well-known problem with FF on Android! Chromium manages this better and leaves the memory management to Android. Why can't FF do that? Why can't I switch off this feature? I can't edit any relevant websites with the FF. I have to use Chrome for that! Hooray!

When switching to another app from Firefox and then switching back to firefox, the webpage reloads. This is not a memory issue, I have enough RAM and it happens even if I only have 1 tab open. This is a major pain when I need to enter a 2FA code and need to swith apps to get the code. Or if I'm watching a YouTube video and get a call, the youtuve page reloads after the call has ended. Please suggest how to fix this.

I own a Samsung Fold 5 phone. I have set the outer display used when the phone is folded to 300dp. The inner unfolded width is set to 601dp.

Up until very recently, when I folded or unfolded my phone, websites would resize. Often switching between layouts made for phones and layouts made for tablets or desktops. This still happens in Chrome. But no longer does in Firefox. Instead the site has the same resolution in both modes, making the text too small to read when folded. This effectively makes Firefox unusable unless I unfold my phone. Please make Firefox respect the resolution I have set for each mode again so I can view websites at a width of 300px in folded mode like I used to.

Note I have the slider for "desktop site" turned off. When I try to turn it on, nothing happens. The slider doesn't activate and the resolution does not change. (But the page does reload.) This used to give me the option of 3 different resolutions for my screen, (300 folded, 601 unfolded, and something like 1024 in desktop mode.) I'm not sure if desktop mode is permanently turned on now, or if the phone is set to permanently use 601 width, but it is definitely not using the 300 width I used to get when folded. The desktop mode slider is to the left and will not change.

I opened site settings and turned off always request desktop site and nohing changed. I am still unable to get the 300 width site I need to be able to use Firefox on a folded phone.

HOW DO WE RESTORE JAVASCRIPT. I guess 🤣 need to buy a new phone thanks to FIREFOX. None of the crap in this forum or online works. At first my problem was I can't open links because I need to enable JavaScript. I cannot use the suggested fix i.e. about:config. Doesn't work.

Just a few minutes ago I was able to post a DISAPPEARING query and then somehow I'm not in Firefox and when I try to log in WHICH I DID just minutes before I'm told my password doesn't work or I need to use primary acct which I try and still get told it's WRONG. So now I think I'm here by signing in with Gmail but the problems keep multiplying until I can't remember all the steps I took when something worked and a second later it was bad page or some warning or this that and the other. WHY THE "&?$ isn't there a fix I can complete before I die of old age? HOW DO I ENABLE JAVASCRIPT and why did it quit working?

Hi, let me describe my problem:

I enabled pull to refresh gesture function and until recently it worked great. But I noticed odd behavior recently: To activate pull to refresh, one should "pull from top", right? But if I just drag from middle to top to just scroll through website, it refreshes as if I pull from top.

This happens only when I moved to new pages. For example, I clicked a post in reddit to open that post >> the post opens, I try to scroll the page to see post comments >> and boom the page refreshes. After that this won't happen in the same page.

I hope to find solution and currently disabled pull to refresh.

Google homepage not loading on my mobile. Done all the recommended things, reboot, restart clear cache, uninstall, reinstall nothing works. My husband then checked his phone and it is not loading on his either. Checked for updates and there are none available. We are running 121.0.1 Any advise or hepl appreciated.

After selecting Mozilla as my default browser, I tried to perform a search but the only page that loads is the page that wants you to download Mozilla on desktop and android, which I already have. Each time I've tried to do a search with Firefox this is the page that appears, no search results of any kind, but when I switch my search to duckduckgo and perform the search I get results. Can someone please help me understand why I can't perform a search using firefox?? Thank you in advance for your help!

I have a custom site on my ISP's webspace that can be access via an https:// link. Firefox for Android (129.0.2) on my new phone (Samsung a35, Android 14) says that it's not secure, which means I frequently have to go though the not secure>advanced>accept risk process.

The problem is that this is literally the only browser instance I have that thinks it isn't secure. Chrome, on the same device, says it is, Firefox for Android thinks it is on two other devices. Firefox for Windows thinks it is. I can find no other browser on any device or platform that thinks there is any problem.

Any hep appreciated.
