How to disable home button icon on URL bar in Firefox Android like Chrome allows in 2025?

It takes up too much space and URL is hidden and unreasonable. In Chrome, all is optional and customisable.

Is Firefox team updating it to current standards of 2024-25?

How to export passwords from Firefox Android in readable format like CSV for other password manager apps like KeePass XC or AuthPass?

Currently as I'm seeing all Gecko-based browsers especially on mobile not just Firefox but also Mull, Fenix, Waterfox and Iceraven, lacks this.

Is this intentional or should I just keep Chrome as my browser because to jump to Firefox, I need basic things to be covered, which I don't see, Mozilla Firefox team doing on its own.

Other browsers like Opera have proper in-built system of password manager.

How unfortunate.

When will Gecko-based Firefox Android increase the number of default search engines in 2025?

Currently it hosts only Big Tech namely Google and Microsoft Bing and DuckDuckGo, which is Bing and MSN results in DuckDuckGo and Qwant (same Bing results) latter which works only in the UK.

I'm using Gecko-based browsers like Fenix and Mull and Iceraven, and they all come with like 5 to 10 search engine options.

Adding new search engines is a mess and doesn't sync with Firefox account settings, so futile efforts.

Even Chrome allows us to select our search engine, if we are visiting it too much.

Is Firefox really privacy based browser or just Big Tech in Firefox like Google as default search engine out of the box, no asking which the XYZ user wants?

Firefox for Android app, build 132.0.2.

When opening the password tab, the prompt to enter your devices pin or password appears as it should. However, spamming the "cancel" button on the prompt or the Android's back button (about 4 or 5 times) allows you to go to the password manager and view all usernames and passwords without reentering the device's pin/password.

To recreate: open the password tab, enter pin prompt opens, pressing cancel reopens the pin prompt, pressing cancel 4 or 5 times opens the password manager without verification.

I realize that if a file is served with mime type Content-Type: application/pgp-encrypted, then its extension is changed by Firefox on Android to ".pgp". Apparently, Firefox for Android likes to modify extensions based on mime type.

Can this behavior be disabled?

Hey, I'm writing to you with a request, could you add an option to your browser because currently, when you turn on YouTube in the Fire Fox application for example and start a movie, it automatically stops after the screen turns on, and could you add an option that would allow you to turn off this automatic stopping of the movie after the screen turns off in the settings? I was thinking about changing the browser to Brave because there is such an option there, but I got attached to Fire Fox and I feel safer there, so please consider my proposal for a new option.

Good morning and/or evening!

Within the last year, I upgraded my phone from iOS to Android, and decided to switch browsers from Safari to FireFox while I was at it. The mobile version of FireFox has served me very well so far, especially the collections feature!

I also like to use private tabs to save content I may not want to view until later. Unfortunately, due to FireFox automatically closing private tabs, I often lose my place and reading lists.

The option to Keep Private Tabs is available on the iOS version of Firefox, as shown on this page: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/automatically-close-private-tabs-when-leaving-priv. Would it be possible to make this an option for Android users as well?

Thank you for your time and help!

When you have the 'Open links in apps' setting turned on, clicking a link will open the app but also open the link in browser as well. This is annoying because if I'm searching for something and switching back to the browser, I have to click back every time to go back to the search results.

- This is a problem on Firefox Beta for Android - I have a Pixel 8a - It works fine on standard Firefox for Android - It is not specific to one app - The open in app part works fine. It's just the browser shouldn't also go to the website at the same time.

Why oh why doesn't the mighty Mozilla allow me to organise my bookmarks alphabeticaly. Much lesser browsers do, Mozilla doesn't allow me to organise bookmarks at all. I use bookmarks extesively, it wouldn't take much coding to allow me to sort them. Putting them in as saved order makes no sense. Come on guys 'n' gals get with the program!

I can't share any files, but rather than saving to my downloads folder, I've found the app is downloading to the folder I had intended to move the files to. The issue is that the naming structure of the files is based on the week/day. So if it's Monday of the first week of the month, it would be Mon-1. When downloading another Mon-1 to the downloads folder, I'd get Mon-1(1), which is exactly what I want. When I use my file browser to move them, it also renames the new file to Mon-1(1), perfect. If I download Mon-1 and this issue occurs, Mon-1 will overwrite the existing Mon-1 in my reports folder. Now I have reports from all different months in my January section with January just about wiped from my phone. I have changed everything but Firefox and the phone and the issue still occurs, so I can only assume it's either an android issue or a Firefox issue.

Hi. FF Android seems not to show a context menu automatically when text gets marked/selected. By holding the finger longer then appears the popup context menu. It should be standard to get always this option when text gets marked/selected because its a logically following action.

And when moving by car or train or feet, it is impossible to hold a finger calm.

Thx Am I right here to ask for that?
