When I search Google from the address / search bar in Firefox Android, the progress bar goes to about 30% and stops for a long time before loading the page.

Worse, every page I click in the search results behaves the same way.

Same behavior just opening www.google.com.

Other sites load fine, just anything that starts with a Google URL is severely hobbled.

Same on mobile and Wi-Fi. Desktop PC on same Wi-Fi network is not affected.

Scam Reporting and Prevention on Android/iOS

Hi everyone, I searched far and long but couldn't anywhere find anything about how to actually report scam/phishing/fraudulent pages of any kind to Mozilla to enable their automated blocking or at least a warning in a safe-browsing manner. I thought where is any kind of a report a page-button which I could use to report threats so others don't fall for it. Isn't there such a feature to enable secure browsing? Something preferably working in an interdisciplinary cross-browser like fashion, including chromium based ones, safari, opera and whatever else is available too. A warning system, where community-shared fraud warnings become a red fullscreen warning shown, when anyone tries to navigate a suspicious page with bad reputation.

I already reported a scam e-commerce store recently to the European Union anti-fraud page (https://ec.europa.eu/anti-fraud/contacts/fraud-reporting-form_en), but I don't know how to warn other users about it, or how to get all common browsers to show warnings on pages which have been reported as unsafe by others and are likely dangerous and should be avoided.

Often older people fall for online scams, especially those not natively grown up with the internet, how do we protect them?

This issue of a missing reporting function applies to all mobile platforms Firefox is available for, not just Android, unless I've been missing a well-hidden functionality...

I have FF installed on my Android, but can only get to it by tapping SETTINGS/APPS/Firefox. I am unable to create an icon or 'shortcut' to reside on the Android's home screen where it would be most convenient. Has anyone experienced issues of this nature or have any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong?

Any and all input is welcome and appreciated.

Thanks for your help in advance...

I have an HP Chromebook that is up to date. Recently Firefox flashes black for a second then comes back. It does this continously while I type or scroll on websites making it very difficult to use.

I have searched and found that on Chromebooks, Firefox does not have a Safe or Troubleshoot mode. Firefox does not do this on my Android tablet (Samsung) or Android phone (S21+) just on the Chromebook. It started maybe 2 weeks ago (today is 09/05/21).

The troubleshooting issues I've seen with flashing black screens apply to Windows, etc, and not to Chromebooks or Android in general. I don't want to use Chrome, do use Duck Duck Go browser for a lot of things but for regular websites I frequent I use Firefox. It's flashed about 60 times while I've written this.

Any suggestions?

On the all results tab of a google results, all images that I click on are shrunk down making you have to click on full size image. When you click on the image when you go to the images result tab, it's not shrunk down. This isn't like this with other browsers and it's very frustratingly annoying to have to go through every time that it has made me not want to look up images if I don't absolutely need to. Don't know how to describe this to search up how to disable this option.
