Firefox for Android Support Forum

I am using the video background fix addon but whenever i minimize firefox, it will play the current video untill the end and will not autoplay the next one. I have to bring forefox to the screen again and then it starts the video.

On my much older Android device, i am using the same setup and have no problem with autoplaying the next video, even when firefox is minimized. Any suggestions?

When I play YouTube videos the audio functions but I get a black screen. Tried it with add ons disabled still have problem. Videos play in other android browsers (opera and chrome) and in YouTube app but not in fx.

Cleared cache, cookies, restarted phone, checked for system updates. Not having problem with non YouTube videos.

Using fx version 110.1.0 (Build #2015936097).

For some reason, when I open a link on another app, the browser just stays on a blank screen. The loading bar doesn't even appear. I tried to do Open in Firefox, but it does the same thing, and it even makes it so any time I try to go to another tab or try to go to a different website immediately after, it gets stuck on the blank screen as well. I had to force close the app and reopen it to fix it. I don't know if it's a firewall issue or incompatibility.

I use Firefox to save and autofill passwords, which has worked perfect for years. It still works correctly on a Windows PC, but the problem is on my Huawei P30 pro phone. It used to work correctly but I tried using the phones password manager for both websites and Apps, as a safety back up. I got confused because I was getting 2 lots of suggested log ons. Therefore I switched off everything apart from Firefox. Save passwords and autofill are enabled and some websites load correctly. However some websites where the family have a variety of logons I get all the suggested logons. The list of all usernames and passwords appear but when I touch them they don't automatically fill in. If I go into the password manager on Firefox on my phone all the correct details are saved but they just don't transfer to the website. It is strange because some sites do take the password - I'm not sure but I think it's when there are a variety of possible Loggins. I tried clearing all cookies, and logged out of Firefox and back in but still have the issue. Firefox sync is still working OK.

So i just got back on using firefox then this annoying bug keeps happening which is i cannot play a single video thats in full screen mode even though i already click the expand button, any site from youtube, imdb etc. will not play in full screen.

There always this gray area from top like in the line of the front cam of my phone. Before i can watch videos in full screen but now idk whats happening.

On Android - Recently noticed that even when using Private Browsing and Quitting correctly my last sites visited will appear under Android, Settings, Notifications, Advanced Settings, Notifications History, Firefox. Note that my Firefox Notifications are turned off.

I just finished setting up my new pc with Windows 11 (Feb 2023 updates) and installed Firefox 110.0.1) and wanted to transfer my logins, passwords, etc, from my Android 12 Phone's Firefox 110.1.0, and other pcs. A window popped up giving instructions how to sync my phone, as follow:

• • • Sync Firefox on you phone or tablet. 1) open Firefox on your Mobile Device. 2) Go to the menu (<ios>&<android>menu examples shown) and tap sync and save data. 3. Tap ready to scan and hold your phone over this code.***

I'm 73, have used Firefox since first release in 2004. In all these years I have never seen SYNC in the instructions to "sync and save and to point the phone at a barcode-thingy" or at least not in this world. The instructions made it seem like SYNC was right there to see, but I had to dig thru layes of options to finally find it. You can blaim it on my 73 yr old brain, I guess, but nothing like these instructions exist in Windows or Android firfox. What in the world are your programmers smokin' these days. I would just as soon open up Edge or Chrome and did up the passwords I need to log into my banking and creditcard accounts...heck, it seems like MAYBE I should just dump Firefox after almost 20 years and just use those other browsers. At least there instructions are much simpler that this ol' man can follow. Please have someone review your published helps info on your webpages, and help those Sr. citizens like me to more easily find what we need without calling up grandsons or granddaughters for help (their parents are worse than I am at most techy stuff!) I'm getting a blue dot on the hamburger icon and when I tap the burger icon there's a blue dot next to "install" on the drop-down menu. However when I switch to another tab there's no Blue Dot and there's no install menu item.

What is the install icon wanting me to install and if it's a Firefox update why isn't this blue dot showing on all of my open tabs?

Well my face book page is asking question like what texts pass codes I think I use but I did have a code and pass code but I did not have one for a Tablet tab 8. I think I was on down loads plus I think I mean it came with a number on texts [phone# removed from public]

Recently I found that I can't access to on all saved loigns and password on my phone Android Samsung. The face recognition pops out but failed to recognize and allow me to go the list. ... all things are correct on my phone. The face recognition is working, one time un-install Firefox and Re-install again, nothing fixed.

There is no other solution that even can use my pattern to unlock.
