On the moble browser for android I can't get websites to change from being in dark mode. I have made sure dark mode is off on the browser and the system. I have tested the same sites on other browsers to make sure it was not the sites. The browser and system are up to date.

I love the way I can customize my Firefox on my Linux desktop. Not so much on my Android phone.

F.ex. I never use the home button, but open new tabs all the time. Would be nice if I could replace the home button with one that opens a new tab

I am trying to sync my desktop Firefox data to my Android phone, a Samsung Galaxy S21+. In every help topic I read, it says to click the three dots on Android, go to settings and click "Sync and save data," then click "Ready to scan" and scan the QR code provided from my desktop account. The issue I am running into is that the "Sync and save data" option does not exist on my Firefox Android app. If I click on my profile on the phone, I can click "Sync" but it doesn't do anything. It does not work if I try to scan the QR code through the phone camera instead. I am at a loss for how to sync my Mozilla account on these two devices. My Firefox app is up to date. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

For years, I have my homepage on Firefox browser app on Android Galaxy phone set to Google.com. 2 days ago this only shows a white screen. I have verified all settings and even uninstalled/ reinstalled the app. I can use the Google app to get there, just not through Firefox. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

Home screen might be considered a specialized bookmark I suppose but the categories don't directly apply above. Browsers for decades have allowed a custom Url to be entered or "use current page" as home screen. I can find no option under firefox settings for Android enter it. What's the trick?

I picked last tab but that isn't the same as a fixed URL such as my bank website or Facebook page I would always want to see first.

Hi, I've just changed my phone & PC. on my phone (Realme 13pro+ on Android 14) Dark mode isn't working on most websites. I have glaucoma so it's very difficult for me to endure white backgrounds. I've checked on my old phone & the same sites are dark as they should be. I've tried 'Dark' & 'Follow system dettings" but neither work. on my new laptop, Dark mode works, but is preceded by a horrible flash of full brightness before it goes dark, which is really bad for my eyes!

Greetings FF Community, New Samsung Galaxy S9 Ultra tablet running FF ver 127.02 on Android 14. Have no option to customize toolbar or even add the File Menu to the top of Firefox as other resources in Firefox indicate. Using a Finite bluetooth keyboard, ALT key does nothing, using bluetooth mouse right click on empty space in address bar - no context menu appears, enabled in mouse settings. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Screen shots below of laptop and S9 Ultra. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

It appears to me that one can only rearrange or move the position of a bookmark (in Firefox) via a PC and not with an android phone.

Is this correct? If not, could said instructions for doing so via an android phone be forwarded?

Recently firefox for android mobile stopped allowing me to take screenshots. I get the error msg in the subject line when pressing the volume down and screen sleep/wake button. Is there a setting I can change?

Hi all. I recently tried to access an instrument company's webpage, and Firefox stopped me. I thought it was just doing the "overprotective" thing, since there's been times it's done it to perfectly fine sites that i go to all the time. I got a weird notification about it being a porn virus, and closed the window. Ever since, i keep getting these notifications, all of them the same as the first. They're all coming from Firefox, and they're all spammy-- i don't even *have* Norton.

I've scanned with the antivirus app i *do* have, i've cleared Firefox's cache, i've restarted my phone. I'm not sure what else to do, since i've never had this happen before. I've used the desktop version for over 10 years, and never had anything similar to this happen.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running latest Android update and latest Firefox update. I set Firefox as my default browser. I have un-installed all updates for Samsung Internet and removed all permissions for it. Disabling it is greyed out. Some apps that I use have links to websites. Too frequently, when I go to one of those links, the intro screen for Samsung Internet opens. Then, when I look at the settings in Firefox it is no longer set as the default. Then I set Firefox to default and go to my phone settings to see that Firefox is selected as the default. If I open the previously mentioned app and choose the web link, Firefox will open. But somewhere along the way, the default changes back to Samsung Internet and it's a vicious circle. I have posted in a Samsung forum but haven't gotten a reply that solved the problem. Please help. Trying to find out how to turn on Java Script bin my Firefox Android Browser on my phone. I saw where it says that the question was archived, but it shouldn't go Ave been because this seems to be a recurring problem and a control for it ava script should be in plain view. I've been trying for DAYS to learn how to turn Java Script on. Can you please tell me how to do it and don't archive the answer? Thank you.

This is a new issue that just started occuring this month Nov/2023. Firefox for Android has suddenly developed an issue where instead of saving to the download folder and renaming the file with (1), (2), etc. It will save to a random folder and overwrite an existing file with the same name.

Noticed occuring on ebay images because they have the same naming structure.

I'm following instructions on computer. On Android I can't find 'sync and save data' option as instructed. I tried finding it in three dots and in settings as well. I'm signed in on both devices with the same email.
