About 90% of the time, when I try to go to powerball.com on my android (12), it displays a message that "The request is blocked".

I don't know what the issue is but it's incredibly frustrating when I'm trying to check my numbers and I can't access this site.

What can I do to fix this?

There is a forum where poster tried to embed YouTube video, but YouTube refused to deliver the data. All browsers display there instead their customized messages about website error. So does Firefox for Android 113.2.0, but in this message it refers to itself as Nightly. Seems like developers forgot to tweak some settings in project.

Nightly Can’t Open This Page

To protect your security, m.youtube.com will not allow Nightly to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window.

I just got a new phone (Pixel 7a) and embedded videos have closed captions enabled by default in Firefox. Even if I turn them off while watching one video, they'll be back on the next video. I want them to just be off by default. It's not an Android setting as far as I can tell - I have all live captioning turned off and the video player isn't showing captions when I use Chrome to watch the same videos. Here's a link to a video that has captions on by default when I view it in FF for Android. I've also included a screenshot of the CC controls.

While browsing www.youtube.com, the site is not running smoothly. When I'm scrolling in the YouTube homepage, it's like cutting in the middle. On the other hand when watching YouTube shorts, when scrolling to a new video, it's like jumping and then loading, which seems extremely inconvenient. Overall the YouTube site is not working properly in Firefox mobile (Android 13). Note: I have tried the cookie delete option. Still persistent.

instagram.com not asking for notification permission, so I'm not able to receive notifications from this site.

Someone else experiencing this? Is there something that I and/or Firefox and/or Instagram can do to fix this?

CONFIGS

• Settings> Sites Permission> Notifications is set to Ask to allow
• there's no record of instagram.com on Settings> Sites Permission> Exceptions
• Tested also with addons disabled
• Firefox version: 117.1.0 (Build #2015973691), from Google Play Store
• Oneplus 11

Ps: Tested on Google Chrome and the site asks for this permission

Firefox on Android won't display pop-ups. I've checked privacy setting but there's no checkbox for a popup blocker. Also tried about:config but didn't find any setting to change. Any ideas on how to be sure Firefox is comfigured to allow popups? I participate on a Zoom webinar and can't start Zoom through Firefox so have to use Chrome.

Hi. For the past few months I have been unable to play any samples from the Audible website in Firefox on my android phone. When I click the word "Sample" Audible opens up a new tab with their Web player and I always get an error message that is just a rectangular box with an exclamation mark inside a triangle on the left side of the box. (Screenshot attached.) There are no words inside the box and the only option is to close the tab. Since there is no actual message I'm not sure what the problem is.

Playing samples used to work fine when you could play them within their web page before Audible changed its system. I seem to be able to play samples on Audible's Web player in Chrome, but would prefer to keep Firefox as my default browser. I have tried deleting all history, cookies and cache; closing and reopening Firefox; turning phone off and starting again after an hour. I've also tried enabling autoplay, but that made no difference. I was thinking that the issue may be with my other settings within Firefox, but I can't tell. Any help you can provide would be great. The site (which I have used before on this phone) now tells me I must have Javascript enabled. I have looked through SUPPORT and I see 44 other inquiries on this topic but no answers. HELP!

When playing YouTube videos in full screen using

Firefox: the gear button and the "restore screen size/exit full screen" button are nonfunctional (nothing happens when I tap on them).

Google Chrome browser: the gear icon button is nonfunctional.

DuckDuckGo browser: the gear icon button is non functional.

Opera browser: the gear icon button is non functional.

This problem started about a week and a half ago.

Hi, Suddenly Firefox Android can no longer open the magnet links. I can download and open the torrent with the torrent agent and I can also use the magnet links on Chrome Android, but on Firefox Android it doesn't work. I don't get any error message, it just doesn't work. I also tried Firefox Nightly, but that didn't work either. Anyone has an idea how can I solve this problem? Thanks in advance!

Hello. I have the most recent update for Android Firefox. Suddenly I can not watch videos because it says my JavaScript is off. I have not done anything to change any settings. And I am unable to get into "About:Config" to change anything. The version of Android Firefox is 117.0. I would appreciate a response as soon as possible. Thank you so much. On some website (example : https://tasmota.github.io/docs/Commands/ ) the "find in page" search field will just vanish in the middle of typing or while pressing the up/down arrow to go through findings.

Firefox version : 131.0.3

Using "private firefox", I was unable to sign into gmail. I got a google search screen with no option to sign into gmail. The google screen seemed to be in a larger font and simplified compared to the usual screen. I was using an andriod phone for the task. Thanks if you are able to help. p.s. I have lots of settings throughout apps/ systym set ti hogh levels of privacy and do not intend to change that, sync etc.Firefix63

Seee above. Is this issue fixable? , operator error ( I don't think so.) App compatability? An evil lurker followin/mirroring? Something else? I don't know, but suspect it may be tied somehow to "AI".

The problem is I'm getting the "Unexpected response from server" message when trying to open any web page. Could you try to solve this without me updating the android version? My phone is not new and quick in the terms of performance so I do not update the OC. Please find the error examples, broeser version and my phone's system info attached in a form of screenshots.
