Where is the issue tracker for Firefox Nightly on Android? The last few updates have caused the keyboard to block the bottom part of webpages, making it impossible for me to see what I'm typing.

I can't reproduce it, but sometimes the URL bar becomes unresponsive. You click on it and nothing appens. I've tried to delete cache and history, but nothing changes.

It's very frustrating to use Firefox as alternative to Chrome. It should be fast and reliable in browsing, which is fitting issues compared to chromium browsers like Chrome, Brave. Thanks.

When I want to buy something and my bank want to check payment I change firefox for bank app but firefox automaticaly reload the page. Same problem if I want to sign in somewhere and need pause or copy something from another app. The firefox always teload page and I have to start again. ONLY one help is divided screen. But it is not solution.

Multiple times a day when switching tabs the entire screen will turn gray and become entirely unresponsive, requiring me to close and restart the app. This has been happening for weeks. It does this regardless of the number of tabs I have open, and continues to do this even after clearing the cache. There is also no report for it in about:crashes.

When the app is going to turn fully grey when opening a new tab when I scroll down and the address bar moves away there is a gray box where it used to be. Also, when opening a new tab the homepage won't appear; there is no "jump back in" or "recently visited" section, just a fully gray background.

I'm getting a box popup that prevents me from doing anything normal. Can't select a new link like normal, the refresh is there, but in a different spot. I'll try to add the screen shot in case someone recognizes what might have caused this.

Every so often (about 5 times a day?) when I tap the screen, Firefox initiates a page refresh as if I've swiped down from the top of the page. The refresh icon appears fully pulled down, and if I catch it before I release my finger, I can swipe back up to cancel the refresh. It seems to happen on some sites more than others, but I can't find a pattern or reproduce it reliably (maybe it happens more on sites that don't scroll down so the page is always at the top?). I managed to catch a video of it happening, but I don't see a place to upload it.

Just thought I'd report this because it appears to be a consistent, reasonably long-standing issue (months) on a popular news site. Or is it "just me"?

Expected behaviour: I am able to open links and download files on this website as backround tabs and continue browsing.

Actual behaviour: 1. After a couple are opened, Firefox for Android hangs for very close to 30 seconds then does a deep redraw/repaint of all tabs and continues to function until I next try to open another background tab from that website. 2. During the hang tab interface continues to redraw, but the pages are not repainted and no taps events work. 3. At the end of this hang time, the pages appear to redraw from scratch and the context pop-up for the third long-press appears on top of whichever tab I was looking at.

It is 100% repro for me -- long-press fails when attempting to open the 3rd background tab, but repaint failure occurs earlier. There is something toxic happening.

Curiously, when I next view my Android Home screen, there is some sort deep refresh/repaint, as if it has been swapped-out or GC'd etc.

e.g. Is there some massive memory blow-out happening?

Context/workarounds: 1. I have tried clearing all browsing data and using a guess account on the phone. 2. I have no addons installed. 3. Neither Chrome nor FF Desktop exhibit this behavior. This is FF Android specific

After opening Facebook in the firefox browser for android, I am not able to comment on any Facebook post. The keyboard is not stable. Please fix this. And when I download any big file, it fails after half the download. This process happens again and again. Please fix this. Thank you.

I'm hoping for some help with a persistent video playback issue on Firefox for Android. I am committed to using Firefox for its privacy and its independent Gecko engine, but this performance bug is a major blocker.

The Problem: When I play videos in Firefox, the playback is very choppy and stutters, appearing as if it's running at a very low frame rate.

Crucial Testing Information:

This issue is specific to certain browsers. I have tested the exact same videos on Chrome, Vivaldi, Brave, and Ulaa, and they all play perfectly smoothly. The stuttering issue happens in Firefox (and also in Opera).

This confirms the problem is with how Firefox is rendering video on my device, not a network or hardware limitation.

Troubleshooting Roadblock:

I have already tried all the basic fixes (clearing cache, reinstalling, etc.).

I attempted to follow standard advice to troubleshoot this by accessing about:config to check the status of hardware video decoding. However, access to about:config is completely disabled in the stable version of Firefox for Android. This prevents any advanced user-side troubleshooting for performance issues like this.

My Device Information:

Phone Model: OnePlus Nord 2T

Android Version: Android 14

Firefox Version: 143.0.4

Given that a critical troubleshooting tool is unavailable, I am reporting this directly. This seems to be a hardware acceleration incompatibility issue with my device.

Hi , Recently Mozilla started behaving problematic, I wonder if this problem is persistent in every Android device. When I switch apps on mobile let's say I open a banking app to copy paste credit card information and then reopen the Mozilla from the recently used application tab/section. Mozilla gives a black screen in which only bottom frame where the address bar and navigationonal buttons are placed is visible. It sticks there for 10-20 seconds, and then the web page appears or I have to refresh the page.

It s quite annoying and you have to wait a lot, lose the latest info on the page as you have to refresh it. I don't know if there is any solution to that or is it because of my Xiaomi resmi note 13 pro plus.

My keyboard is often glitching out while I'm in the Firefox browser. This will happen when I'm trying to search on websites or in the search bar.

I've tried a few different keyboards and I've had this problem with Gboard(the one I want to use) and the built-in Samsung keyboard. It seems to work fine for the Microsoft's keyboard but I prefer not to use that one. I've recently updated both of theses apps but the issue persists. The screenshot is what I see when this happens; the area where the keyboard should be is solid black.

If I use the search bar that normally contains the URL, it works but I try to avoid this because using that bar seems to get stuck often on a blank screen(or take a while to load? Not sure what's happening there).

Is there a fix or workaround?

Ever since the Fennec F-Droid 142 update, Fennec has trouble loading pages properly, even when you currently have Internet access. This happens when you try to access any page directly from the home page and from the status bar from within the app, and the page tries to connect but completely stalls with loading as a result. This issue is not affected by the in-app mini browser view that pops up when tapping a link in another app to preview in Fennec or when you have any other app open that uses the Android System WebView (or in most cases, any WebKit based browser, as it doesn't have to be the Android System WebView most the time for this bug to go away!) for loading content, which in fact this strange bug in Fennec will go away as a result.

This issue is only addressed in Fennec F-Droid 142 and does not affect any other forks of Firefox or even the proper upstream versions of Firefox where this issue does not occur. This issue only occurs every time after restarting your Android device, in fact the one that I'm using is a Google Pixel 8 Pro.

I have also reported this issue directly to Google engineers so that they know what might be going on. Given that I'm on a beta version of Android 16 (QPR2 beta 1), this is to be expected. Thank you all so much as hopefully someone at Mozilla will have a small patch ready for when Fennec 143 goes into testing pretty soon!

Hello teams I have problem with my firefox browser android Any time i switch to another app & go back the page refresh it self or reload .. for that reason i start over again fills all the information on website... Example uploading file or a picture when i finish all the page reloaded..or just switch another app & go back sam problem all the page refresh again ...i face That problem just in firefox ... Others work normally & fine .

Full Blank screen when opening new tab or webpage Does this intermittently, at least once per day. Recovery is to clear all active apps from memory, then reopen Firefox; previouse tabs are present.

No relation to number of tabs open or number of other apps open.
This problem has persisted for at least 2 FF build updates.
 It is NOT A MEMORY ISSUE, I checked last failure
