I tried to download a podcast from the native site, by tapping the download link. This resulted in a blank new tab opening in firefox. Previously, when I hit the download link, the mp3 would start downloading automatically, and save in my playlist. . The address of the download was visible, but would not save or download.

I updated to the newest version of firefox, but same trouble. This is a new issue, as I have been downloading the same podcasts from the same sites, to my phone for a few years. Help, please!

my phone is a Motorola RAZR Maxx HD with Android 4.1.2 from Verizon. I've been using Firefox on my PC for years and would really like to use it on my phone, but I've about had it. Its constantly crashing and running slow. I kill tasks, and it still runs slow. Reboot the phone and still same issues. If I open chrome, it runs great. Pages load fast and it never locks up. What's going on and can I fix it? I really don't want to switch to Chrome because I really like the Sync function.

Hi, I'd like to report a bug or problem using Mobile Firefox on a Sony Xperia Tipo running Android 4.0 ICS. Whenever I try to enter text on a forum (such as this one) the standard Xperia keyboard appears. However, three things do not work as they should.

The first minor point is the keyboard does not automatically switch to caps mode for a new sentence, like it does normally.

Secondly, and much more annoyingly, the 'return' key does not work at all (it puts in spaces instead).

Thirdly, if you try to delete from the end of a line with the backspace key, it often crashes the keyboard, giving a "Sony Xperia keyboard has stopped working" message. After that, no more text input is possible in Firefox, but the kbd DOES still work fine in other apps.

Points 2 and 3 are seen particularly in landscape mode, portrait mode seems okay

Using the most recent version of Firefox mobile on Android 4.1.2 on a Samsung Galaxy S3. I can download animated .gif images via Firefox to my phone and the saved file will display as a static image. If I download an animated .gif image with the proprietary browser the saved image will display as an animated image.

Thanks in advance, Evan
