Firefox for Android does not follow system theme changes i.e. dark to light.

Discovered on Samsung Galaxy A22, Android 14 and Firefox 124.2.0

Steps to reproduce:

1. Configure Android to automatically switch themes. For Samsung Galaxy this is Settings - Dark Mode Settings - Turn on as scheduled
2. Wait until Android toggles theme from dark to light.
3. Notice Firefox has a black border.
4. Go into Application info for Firefox and force stop, then reopen
5. Now notice it doesn't.

Why were my bookmarks wiped out by April 2024 forced Firefox update to my Android Samsung S21 Ultra? 😡 Since I don't synch, can't find a way to restore my many bookmarks.

In Firefox Android, Could you add an option to disable the display of the message "Entering Full Screen Mode" when entering a full screen mode for a web app such as an online video player? I find it annoying because I can clearly see that the video player is in full screen mode and the message just blocks whatever I'm trying to view in the video player like the subtitles of a video.

My firefox version: 124.2.0 My phone: Xiaomi redmi note 13

The problem: This problem is most prominent when I want to listen to music on youtube while having another app open. I have "video background play fix" add-on. Interestingly, just going to the home screen keeps the song playing, but once I go to any other app (tested with discord, whatsapp and veryfitpro) the song stops playing. Then I go back to the app and it reloads the entire website and the song is at the beginning waiting for me to press play. I've tried different battery optimization strategies in the app's settings and none of them worked. Tried clearing the cache.

Private tabs disconnects the second I switch to another app or turn off screen. And when I switch back tabs basically opens again. So if I try to listen to a podcast from a private tab, it will stop, if there was any data typed, it will be lost. I disabled all power saving settings on the phone, it didn't help. And I didn't find anything in Firefox settings I'm using redmi note 10 with miui 14 global. Firefox from Google play. And UBlock and Privacy Badger are installed

I made my account and signed in, but now Im stuck on the firefox account and help page, if I exit so I can browse, it logs me out and asks me to sign in again. why can't I browse?

I logged into my account on my mobile browser, and was able to see all my passwords and saved data that I had on my computer. I ended up signing by accident and when I logged back in all my passwords and bookmarks where gone. How can I restore them??

I'm noticing an abnormal battery usage in my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Ive used other Chromium based browsers without issues. Sadly I'll have to stop using it.

I can't search or write any url in search bar whenever I click on search bar it crashed my keyboard layout and it will be slide down. This error occurred while I download some files and didn't allow the notification for showing download in notification panel. When I have allow the download notification it works fine and download percentage shows in notification bar but I can't see my downloads in download tab. It's empty. These are bugs I am facing. Please fixed it I have give you the whole schenario of finding bug so you can get it clearly.

For some reason, when I click email links on my new Android, they open in non-private mode, and I have to clear the history when I leave those sites.

Please provide instructions for automatically opening email links in private mode.

I use corporation's websites to find its workers phone numbers. Websites for all regions around the country have the same layout but sometimes frames with names, adress and phone numbers are individualy designed.

I use mobile browser on Galaxy S series smartphones. When I mark phone number it is not recognized by any dialer. When I try the same on other browser i.ex. Brave it recognize it without any problems. No matter how web frame is designed.

I guess this is an issue for Mozilla developers to check out. Personally I dont see any custom settings to change it.

Using Firefox mobile for android and GBoard.

I've selected Firefox as my auto fill service.

A few official apps (at least one banking app, for example) that I've downloaded from the play store that report the following after I unlock and select the correct password:

"Firefox could not verify the authenticity of the application. Do you want to proceed with autofilling the selected credentials."

I can't seem to find any other report of this error so I'm curious what's going on.

I have firefox for android, and I have ublock origin, which is great.

However, firefox seems to refresh constantly- even if I minimize it than return instantly- it automatically goes into a refresh mode, it refreshes randomly while scrolling- I wish I coudl completely turn this "feature" off across all browsers.

I cannot state how many times I have lost VITAL data from this annoying random refreshing.

It should be an option to completely disable refreshing of ANY kind, rather than forcing it down our throats, and losing time, and data. If I want to see new content I will refresh it myself/ re enable the option. I was hoping this ridiculous "feature" would be phased out when humanity pulled its head out, but apparently- it's gotten even worse, now.
