Firefox 125.0 Beta 9. Why so much memory usage in background when Firefox is not open and in use? (See Screenshot). Never noticed this before on previous Beta versions. Otherwise this version works good and no crashes.

Hi, When I am on a site for instance to upload my resume for a job listing when I click on upload a file it doesn't do anything. It doesn't matter what site I am on it's the same everywhere. I then go to Chrome and use the same site and it works. It brings up the location I want to choose for the file.

I have tried adding permissions and it still doesn't work. I have build 125.0 My question is there a way for me to choose where the location is of my files? Like on my phone or SD card? I have looked and I don't see that for Android version. Thank you.

I'm giving up trying to add the mobile app to Android. No one offered any solution and only asks the same questions that I've addressed myself, so I'm done and will just use Chrome and Yahoo..

Just updated Firefox, now it doesn't respond to clicks, not can I select text, websites don't load, all the tabs are at half -resolution. Unusable. Need to use it.

Every time I'm trying to stream video like live sports the video lags so much. I've tried to reinstall the app and run it with no addon ( even though I only use 2 addons) and problem still persists... I'm using a Samsung S21 Ultra.

YouTube videos cannot be played in 4K resolution on Firefox; the maximum supported resolution is 1080p. However, when using Chrome browser, 4K playback is supported.

Hello there! I have an issue with the context menu, which appears on selecting a word on any web site (you can see it on the screenshot attached one after another as it appears)

The context menu is too long, and most frequent options like copy text are in the end (I should switch it many times to copy anything, it appears only on the third tap, and some weird functions like search in Edge appears before the really useful ones). How could it be fixed?

Since the two or three latest Updates of your browsers, a strange bug occours everytime watching a video. When I pause it and let it play again, the video goes under quite some lagging/stuttering. The audio is fine, but the video is not on screen is not. I have to go back on the video bar, so it runs smoothly again.

And before it comes, I already tried the usal methods, such as clearing the cache, clearing browser history, cookies, used privat tab, deibstalled adblocker etc. Nothing worked, and it happens even with different versions, such Firefox normal, nigtly, waterfox etc. And with every video player, not just a specific one. And I teued it on two different smartphones. Is there any solution or planning to fix this?

Hi, this issue has been present for a long time for me, and with many versions of Firefox Nightly for Android.

I'm always using the latest nightly for browsing Youtube only, with a set of specific settings and addons (since we can't use profiles on Android yet)

My problem is I've configured the Homepage to never show anything but a few URLs I chose to pin, you can see my settings and my homepage in the screenshots attached.

Despite the "Recently visited" setting being disabled, sometimes, but not everytime, the last pages I visited are added to the Homepage, after the pinned sites. I have no idea what triggers it or not, if I'm doing something wrong or if it's a bug.

I want to update to the latest version but the "Text selection magnifier" is stopping me from updating firefox android. Because I find it pretty useless and very distracting when viewing text while selecting the text in a website/article. Please provide a toggle for it in the Settings.

When commenting on 9gag, the blue "post" button disappears. If I choose "Desktop sight", the entire page reformats and becomes different and I lose all of my posting information.

I have Firefox on my Windows 11 desktop computer. As of today, I cannot see my Firefox on my Android smartphone. The problem started when I saw that my computer desktop Firefox would not automatically update. When I tried to update manually, I lost my ability to use my Android Firefox. Don't know what to do next.

I use the mobile version of Mozilla firefox and it choose to "remove" the open in other app feature for certain apps.

If I open youtube.com mozilla would ask to "open in other app" as an option instead of just opening it in the browser, youtube, twitter/X, reddit, etc. are fine, but for certain apps such as Pixiv and Patreon the option just dissapeared entirely, not even in the tripple dots at the bottom right does this option appear, can anyone help?

Any website that uses OscillatorNode and other similar features has the audio generated devolve into a crackly mess after only a second or two.
