Hi I use firefox on my desktop for years, and I have deactivated all this annoying stuff on the startpage (most visited, history, etc.) Now I downloaded the browser for my android phone device and cannot find any option to change the start scree . The "general" options just allow me to a) visit the mozilla homepage and b) sync with my desktop, which I don't want to do. I want the browser to save the history, but I want to see it only, when I deliberately open it - not everytime I open a new tab. Thanks, everybody!

firefox starts to play videos and songs instead og downloading them.

I am trying to download an add-on. I tried logging in, it rejected my password. It kept putting a password in the space that was too long for it to be mine. I would erase it & enter mine - rejected. I tried resetting my password - with success...still won't do anything but go right back to the login page. I am correctly entering the captcha words, too. Going around in circles. I am using a Galaxy S3 ICS.

I. want the regular desktop version of Firefox on my android and can't find how to do it. iI do not like the mobile version. it is difficult to maneuver and clicking desktop view in settings change anything. also iI have an add-on that will not work with the mobile version.
