Hi, I'm using a Samsung phone which lets you switch screen resolution dynamically (FHD, QHD etc.). It seems that Firefox doesn't respect those resolution changes until you force stop and restart the browser.
Example: set screen res. to FHD then launch Firefox. Everything looks great. After I increase screen res., website text becomes much smaller, as if Firefox rendered the website for the old resolution. After I force stop and relaunch Firefox, everything looks fine again.
Device: S23 Ultra Android 14 One UI 6 Firefox: 122.0 (Build #2015998391), b49c4f2380+ GV: 122.0-20240118164516 AS: 122.0.1
Kind regards, Kacper

I'm trying to go to the URL "http://192.168.31.8:32004". Instead it searches, which of course has no hits. I'm baffled as to why Firefox would search when the address bar contains a valid URL. And no, I'm not hitting the search button. I hitting on-screen keyboard's right arrow, which is my only other choice. I have tried turning off all address bar options in settings with no effect.
The only solution I have found is to use a different browser. Chrome has no problem going to this URL when asked.

Have this issue where when I click on a link for Amazon, it doesn't open the App, but keeps trying and opening new referral link tabs infinitely.
For some reason Firefox doesn't let me run an automatic bug report for submission so in this case, I clicked on a link on a website, which opened a tab with this URL (after report). But then it doesn't open the app, and just keeps opening more and more of the same tab. I stopped it after a hundred tabs opened.

Experiencing a peculiar issue with the latest version of Firefox for Android where search tabs get duplicated – notably, this problem is exclusive to Firefox and not observed in Firefox Beta. This duplication occurs when searching through the address bar – the first tab is the clicked link, and the second is a duplicate of the search page. Clicking on a link in the second tab leads to further duplications. This problem is more noticeable with Google searches in the search bar, but typing google.com and searching seems to works fine. Additionally, it's worth mentioning that this duplication issue extends to DuckDuckGo and Bing when searching via the address bar. It's a bit complex, as not all search links trigger the duplication, but most do. Any insights or solutions would be appreciated!

In Find and install Add-ons on Firefox for Android, the author described the method to update addons: update Firefox and the addons will be auto-updated. That, however, didn't take place when I update. The addons haven't ever been updated since the first installation! And I believe my network is always stable. Could you please tell me how to update my addons manually? Uninstalling them and then reinstalling surely solve the issue, but bother and cause the loss of my settings.

Hello there,
I'm using the browser mainly to watch charts on dexscreener or dextools. As you can see in the attached documents, on opera it behaves as it should. On Mull however, there's nothing you can read. I deleted any kind of addon even tried switching multiple settings in about:config regarding JavaScript .nothing helped. Reinstalled the app,the issue is still there. Any clue what can be done or should I use a different browser for this cause? Will it act the same way for most of the websites with similar requirements? In case it will,I would need to get rid of it. Thanks for the help

Recently, I'm having an issue where the browser page freezes when loading any site showing a blank screen or sometimes when it does load, nothing is interactable in the page meaning it still froze but the app itself still works and can be interacted.
The only way to un-freeze the browser page is to back out of the app without exiting it to device home and open the app again. This needs to be repeated when changing tabs as well.

The process is probably best described here, but the solution is out of reach:

Please, advise me whether it is indeed still possible to achieve the desired result, and how to do so?
Thank you.

Cannot get my phone's default DNS resolver to be used by Firefox. My network has an intranet complete with it's own DNS, which my phone's receives via DHCP. Android 'Private DNS' is turned off. The routing on my network is fine, as evidenced by being able to access my intranet from other mobile browsers on the same device. All add-ons are turned off, as well as 'Enhanced Tracking Protection' and 'HTTPS-Only Mode'. Any explanations, or more importantly, suggestions?

Hello guys, greetings!
Firefox for Android is pretty cool, however, when I change for another app and I come back to the browser, it reloads the pages. It's annoying when you need to paste external information (I must to fill a form again or whatever activity). Could you please help me with this issue?
Thank you so much in advance!

Whenever I close a tab in Firefox (on Android), and close the app, when I open the app again later, the closed tab is back in my open tabs list and will keep reappearing there for a several more attempts to close it. It finally seems to stick and stops reappearing. This happens consistently all the time and has been happening for me than a year.
Is there a way to arrange the folders in alphabetical order??? They seem to appear in the listing as I created them. Most annoying.

I'm noticing some inconsistent (and irritating) behavior when tapping the urlbar in Firefox for Android. I have noticed 3 distinct options, either it will highlight the entire url as expected, will only highlight the tail end of the url (after the initial /), or it will not highlight anything.
Is there a setting to configure this behavior?
